The Principal is involved and the teachers care about the children. My daughter was a transfer student and did wonderful at Glenvar Middle.

My daughter is a student at GHS, and I am very pleased overall with the quality of education she is receiving, as well as the environment at the school. To my mind, the school performs well because of PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT and evenly applied and appropriate disciplinary action on the part of school administration - as is necessary to maintain an atmosphere where learning can occur . Nonetheless, as parents we CAN DO BETTER. Those of us who try to stay up to speed with what's going on in our kids' classrooms, discuss continually the importance of school achievement and hold our KIDS accountable - rather than pointing fingers at teachers and administrators for failing to parent our children - we need to make our voices heard. And while we're at it - we may find an hour or two to mentor kids whose parents are asleep at the wheel!

It was my first school after coming to US. Great teachers and always for help when needed. Good staff and given me well guidance for choosing other school.
