The teachers and the principals at Craig have been amazing. Always supporting my second grader and kindergartener who receives SSD services. If I leave a message of concern I am always contacted in a timely manner. No question or concern is every judged. I am thankful for the team at Craig. It’s a lot going on with kids now a days and they have handled all of our situations appropriately. I feel supported. My kids feel supported. And they enjoy going to school. Hats off to Craig staff.

Craig has been a wonderful school for our children. The staff here work very hard to reach each learner and create a safe and positive learning environment. Our child literally skips to school each morning! It's a school that celebrates diversity and has earned national recognition for it's character education. We love Craig and Parkway!

It’s really changed the past 3 years. The school has a lot of behavioral issues and teachers and staff are reactive instead of proactive. The morale is also terrible. Teachers don’t support events. Parents don’t support events. The school is not transparent with parents and does not accept parent volunteers in the classrooms during the day: to hide behaviors perhaps? Administration is more focused on keeping teachers happy than parents. Teachers have a “thats not my job” attitude. There are two teachers there that are well-liked amongst kids and parents. The rest are “meh” or not liked.

I taught as a sub at this school and Craig is different than other Parkway schools. (As a sub, I had taught me many different schools.) The class size was 20%-30% larger than other schools. For an elementary school, that's just too many students in one room. Also, in other Parkway schools, students who needed additional help would go to their special groups (such as reading, math, etc) for an entire hour. Here, instead, they came in and out of the room. So they weren't there when you gave out the assignments, then they came in and you'd have to explain the assignments to them again, while the other students needed your help. There were teacher aids, but they weren't there with you the entire time, so you had to figure out how to manage a large class on your own. The other teachers weren't friendly either, not sure why, since I had great experience with the staff in other Parkway schools. I felt that this school was slightly better than the City schools but vastly worse than other Parkway schools.

The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because my child says her teacher is too over reactive, and only takes pride in the people that have won projects and stuff.

This is a great school that both my girls attend to and are very happy and love going to school every day. Many teachers are wonderful, but Mrs Skivey and Mrs Czapla and Walsh are some of the ones that my kids have had and they are all incredible. The new principal for 2 years now, Mr. Senti has made absolute wonders to the school. I give it 5 stars.

I haven't been to this school, but as for as I know, a lot of smart kids came from Craig, and they all enjoyed it there.

Craig Elementary has been a wonderful experience for our daughter since Kindergarten through now as she progresses into Middle School. The current Principal, Mr. Bill Senti, has transitioned fabulously into this position and I have yet to meet a student or parent that doesn't like and respect him. Filling the shoes of his predecessors admirably and giving a renewed sense of pride to the school community. The teachers and staff at Craig genuinely care about the children entrusted to them and take great strides to educate them both academically and socially. I don't believe you can go wrong in considering Craig Elementary if you are moving to the area. GO OWLS!!

This is our first year at this school (oldest in kindergarten) and I understand there were staff/leadership issues previously. The current principal seems very focused on the kids learning, both from an academic and character standpoint. Our daughter's teacher is experienced, and our child is progressing in reading and math. I'm sure things can continue to be improved upon, but I have no complaints.

I have been in this district since 2002 and have add all my children in this school. i love the people in our area, good down to earth people who do care for their children and what they learn at school. unfortunately though, the school has gone through some staff change, and i can't say that it has been 100% positive. we have a lot of apartment surrounding this area, which people come and go quite quickly, and yes there is a huge language barrier. some of these children in school have no very little to no english spoken in the homes, which makes it difficult for staff and families to communicate. i think the diversity holds this school back, some say its wonderful, but i disagree.
