This is a great school where kids are challenged and taught in a very engaging way. The materials and techniques used are very useful. My daughter loves it here. The focus on academics and STEM is present , at the same time arts, music, languages is also part of the curriculum. The principal is very engaged and is always available for any questions or discussions.

While Andrews has many great qualities, such as their arts program, music, and lauded public speaking, it is, at heart, a mill for students' expected matriculation towards the more expensive private schools in the area. If your child is a "square peg", they will not fit in here, and no attempts will be made to help them understand that their uniqueness is a strength, and not a weakness.

Amazing. The teachers are nice, and everyone tries to maintain a positive attitude. VERY small classes. The school also tends to teach a grade higher than the students, which allows the students to be set up for success. I have been going to this school for nearly 7 years now, and I can say that there are very few problems. All the rules seem reasonable and fair. This is definitively a great school.

We really wanted to love this school. Unfortunately we were severely disappointed. My Son's teacher was never available for consultations due to hair appts, shopping or just a blanket answer of "busy schedule". Any issues had to be discussed via email, which is very impersonal and frustrating. The reason I gave this school 2 stars is for the fact that they are always open. Except for Xmas they are open for all holidays and almost never had snow days. If the weather was bad enough they would cancel class but remain open for a daycare day at no extra cost. For some parents this would make all the difference. For us it was more important that our child be in a nurturing environment with small class sizes. At every official P/T conference where we were face to face with the teacher we were asked where our child had gone to kindergarten. We left that school (in preference for another private school in the area) feeling like the teacher and office staff never knew one thing about our child. With a 1:12 teacher to student ratio this is unacceptable. Since leaving we have met several families with similar or worse stories. Way too expensive for the experience.

Huge gender imbalance: the current 4 grade, only has 1 girl and the rest of them are all boys; and there are other grades only have a few boys and majority are girls. Relatively young, inexperienced and irresponsible teacher body and Poor management, this school does not provide the kind of education, which you may think it should provide by the tuition they are charging.

Teachers seem to care but the administration will not address an underlying bullying problem. Many families have experienced it. It is subtle, underground, only occassionally physical, but when it is physical in several cases it becomes the bullied student who cannot take it anymore finally lashing out and becoming punished or expelled. The education is basically a little better than public school.
