I had the very best teachers and received a quality education at this school. I hope the tradition continues.

Two of my granddaughters attend Lucy Wortham James Elementary and they are doing better in their studies. I have enjoyed the programs I have attended to support the girls. My other concern is they often tell me they are being insulted about their weight and color.

Two of my children attend LWJ Elementary School. My kids have had some wonderful teachers. They love their school! They encourage and invite parents to be involved and help out in the classrooms. The administration has always gone out of the way to speak to us & our children. The principal has even stopped to speak to my children by name when she has seen us at a restaurant.

Small town, small classes, great teachers, great arts programs, and nutritional meals... = a wonderful learning environment. Blessed to know that my children will be prepared for the future.

I love the kids there and I love substitute teaching there. The school staff is wonderful to work with and everyone who works there and is associated with it. The school is trying to improve itself for the kids well being and safety and to me that is so important. The kids are loved there and love you back. It's a great school and I am proud to help teach there when called in.

The teachers are wonderful. They help the children. The counselors want to make sure the students have everything they need to succeed in school. The band teacher gives his all to these students so they can participate in band. LWJ is a school that I am proud to send my grandkids too.

It helps students on homework when they are struggling in a certain subject. The teachers are there for the students before, during and after school.

My daughter just started Kindergarten. She loves it and I have been very impressed with how LWJE keeps parents informed about what's going on, whether it be during the day or after school activities. You can tell the teachers/admins really care about the children and making sure they get the best education. We're a very small town so this $20,000 would be a great help! GO TIGERS!!

The staff and teachers go out of their way to protect and teach every child in the school in their own special way.
