My student really enjoyed their STEM classes! The teacher was interactive with the students and taught in a very fun way! We will definitely be taking their classes next year!

My daughter had a great freshman year with Williamsburg Academy! She enjoyed her classes and instructors and can’t wait to get back in the fall! The environment and teachers at Williamsburg have not only given her the tools for a great education but the confidence, motivation and skills needed to fulfill her potential. I couldn’t be happier as a parent and look forward to what’s to come.

I was nervous to homeschool my high school kids but finding an online school such as Williamsburg Academy has really given me peace of mind. The live classes give our kids a chance to meet other kids and the work at your own pace classes gives the flexibility our family needs. We will continue to use these classes until they graduate high school!

My daughter loved Williamsburg Academy! The instructors we’re very hands on and held her accountable. She was always able to get the help she needed and enjoyed the live interaction with other students as well. The staff goes above and beyond to assist and inform parents and make us feel like we are part of the school community. I highly recommend this school!

My sixth grade son had a positive experience with Williamsburg Academy. He thought it was a lot of fun. He really enjoyed having the animal acronyms to help him remember the leadership skills. He also enjoyed the positive interaction with the teacher as well as with the students.

We are a homecoming family and used Williamsburg online classes for my high-schoolers. It was a great option to bring an extra level of learning to certain subjects. My kids liked the format and flexibility and teachers, and I loved the quality of the teaching. Would recommend!

It is always scary having to comb through a new school's website- not knowing if the reviews and feedback you read will help or fit with your child's needs. However your worries can be put to ease when thinking about Williamsburg. For the parent, Williamsburg has a staff willing to work with whatever questions or fears you may have. For the student, Williamsburg has mentors who actually care for you and want you to succeed. The end result is new found knowledge as well as new gained confidence. I say this as a public school teacher who decided to retire and homeschool her four children.

Williamsburg Leadership Academy provides a tailored educational experience - great opportunities for a driven student and support and accommodations for struggling students - and we love the Leadership focus and the helpful staff and fun and engaged teachers

I enrolled our daughter in Williamsburg Academy at the start of 9th grade. I had homeschooled her since the 3rd grade and I felt that we both needed a different approach for high school. I loved the Williamsburg philosophy, the mentors, the leadership track, and the emphasis on reading important works of literature (which we had always done as homeschoolers). I loved the emphasis on critical thinking. I loved the idea of an on-line school that encouraged and promoted a respectful exchange of ideas and opinions. So, we took the leap and registered.Fast forward four years and our daughter graduated from Williamsburg Academy in May. Overall, it was an excellent experience for our family. All the things that I loved about Williamsburg when I first enrolled our daughter we loved and appreciated even more after four years. The mentors were all amazing--great teachers, great people, great role models! They truly care about the students and it shows. The course offerings were excellent and provided a good foundation for college. At the start of the pandemic, when all the schools in our area were shutting down and then rapidly trying to pivot to on-line learning platforms due to COVID-19, our daughter's educational experience was uninterrupted at Williamsburg. We are incredibly thankful and have recommended Williamsburg to other families who are seeking an excellent on-line learning community for their children.

5 stars: Teachers/Classes for gov/Econ and political literature class are great. The classes are engaging and allow for much student interaction.1 Star: getting your charter school’s renewal approved. A couple of us parents and our charter school had emailed/called WA to check to see if they could sign the agreement and get them back on the approved list at our charter. The response we got was “we’re not sure which department does that.” I felt like that office could have taken some initiative to figure out where it needed to get to, instead of just saying we aren’t sure. This is after like a month or more of emailing. It’s mind boggling. And super frustrating especially since I’ve been doing some really good PR telling so many homeschoolers how great WA is….from a student’s perspective. Last year there was a lag in time from WA signing the agreement with the charter school that I ended up having to pay out of pocket for the classes. I love WA. I love what they are doing. Both my charter and WA could be doing a better job making sure charter school agreements are signed off in time. I still recommend WA. I still think the classes are great, but for now I must leave a 3 star review based on the difficulty with communication with office admin.

Williamsburg Academy is second to none, a truly exceptional experience. Our decision to enroll our junior in high school was the single most impactful decision we have made in our student's academic career thus far. Public high school had simply left her behind. In spite of hard work and constant pursuit of solutions to the challenges she was facing, the system was failing her. Students were really nothing more than a number and the teaching staff provided the very minimum support. The pandemic forced us to look at other options and we were blessed to find Williamsburg. The experience was delightful from day one and our daughter finally had educators that truly cared about her success. The curriculum was fantastic and allowed her to work at a pace that made sense for her. She not only completed her junior year with straight A's, but she was also able to retake a number of classes that she had gotten C's or D's in during her freshman and sophomore years in public school. We simply could not have dreamed of a better outcome! Williamsburg was a game-changer for our family!

My daughter loves her classes. I’m very pleased with her growth. She has done extremely well with their leadership program. The teachers are kind and encourage her ideas. They help her when she needs it. Her favorite thing is the clubs that they offer. She’s found a lot of new interests and friends by joining clubs & attending activities.

My son loved the classes he took here. He enjoyed that he could choose what he was learning and could move at his own pace. He is looking forward to another school year with Wiliamsburg.

My son was bombing math on another platform. We made the switch and he was able to get an A on his own without my help at all. His teacher was able to help him understand during class time and office hours and he got to where he even enjoyed going to class!

We tried out Williamsburg academy with our two middle school kids. I was very impressed with the teachers, the organization, the leadership opportunities they provided the kids, and the interaction between the students. Our gifted child enjoyed it so much that we are continuing with it this year. For our social and sporty child it worked fine but she opted to go back to public school this fall.

We had a great experience with Williamsburg academy. My kids really liked their classes and their teachers. If you are looking for a great online education Williamsburg is the way to go.
