Advantages of Valor Hall for the parent of a gifted child 1) Flexibility for gifted children. The teachers will move your gifted child, if he/she is ready, to the higher grade level for math/reading 2) Committed parents. The parent-teacher organization is very active with close dialogue between the admin, teachers, and parents 3) Spiritual/character education. The weekly virtue and daily devotional supports our values but is accepting of the diverse belief backgrounds of the student body. 4) Small class sizes. 5) After-school program for K-4 and kindergarten. One pickup time, if you also have a grade schooler 6) 3-day weekends. School is M-Th. This means every weekend is a 3-day weekend. The availability of all-day Fri makes after school music/art/sports easier. 7) Ski club. Cheap lift tickets/lessons and transportation to/from Brian Head through VH 8) Affordability. Coming from where private K-12 could cost as much as 5 digits yearly, we found VH to be an outstanding value. 9) Access. GWA=Got Waitlisted Again 10) Extracurricular activities. There is a very active Cub Scout pack and guitar lessons on campus on Fridays. 11) Academic summer camp is available. Our kids are love VH!

My daughter is currently enrolled in Valor Hall and I have seen a HUGE change in her scholastic skills. She is reading, writing and learning better. The VERY SMALL classrooms where the main reason I enrolled her. I am VERY happy with this school and would HIGHLY recommend it to any parent.

This is an excellent school and the curriculum is advanced over public as well as charter school. One bad review written by a disgruntled parent is an out and out lie. Valor Hall provides a very loving yet disciplined learning enviroment. Check out the ratings on the Sutherlamd Institure website. Test scores do not lie. My children thrive at this wonderful school. I am thrilled that we have this caliber of school in St. George.

My three kids went to Valor Hall and they loved it. The staff was caring. They worked with my son to reach grade level with one on one tutoring and extra reading classes in kindergarten. My kids went on many field trips, participated in experiments, were accountable for their own learning. The small class sizes and the help of an aid makes this an ideal place to learn.

My son has attended Valor Hall and is now in public school (High School) Valor Hall was such a blessing. My son entered High School and was way above of other students. His ninth grade year was pretty much a repeat of what he had already learned at Valor Hall. On top of a top rate education, he received Spanish, music, art, P.E and many afterschool clubs. Valor Hall is ranked by the Iowa test results in the top 5 schools in Utah for the past 6 years. Those results tell the story. Thank You Valor Hall for educating and loving my son.

All of my children received straight As at Valor Hall and enjoyed their time there. I paid a fortune in tuition because I was told they were a full grade ahead of public and they were #1 in Utah. This wasn't true. When they transferred to public school they were behind and required tutoring. Valor Hall's cirriculum is weak and the majority of the staff has no secondary education. The public education was sadly better than the private school. My kids now say they thought Valor Hall was to easy, and was boring compared to their public charter school. I'm disapointed with the cirriculum and leadership at Valor Hall.

My daughter is about to enter her fourth year at Valor Hall. She is a very independent and willful child who likes to be her own leader; I was concerned for her at first because to some these qualities can be labeled as difficult. At Valor hall she has been appreciated for her strengths and allowed to grow within herself instead of being treated like a part of a mass production. I would recommend this school to anyone, it is well worth the sacrifices sometimes necessary to keep her enrolled here.

This school has been a blessing to our little boy. After the advice from our son's speech therapist to enroll him in school early, we chose Valor Hall. Our son is in his second year and after the first 6 months at Valor Hall his speech improved more than it had in the 2 years he spent in Early Intervention and independent speech therapy. I love this school and I can't imagine sending him anywhere else.
