Overall a excellent school. Our eldest daughter completed her fifth grade here. She is a excellent student who continues to excels academically and will be a high school freshmen this fall. We also have two younger daughters who have been attending Neptune for the last four years. They too have been doing great academically. This fall will be a new experience for us since our only boy (5 year old ) will be attending the school . Hopefully we will continues to have the same great experience with our son as we have had with our girls, thus far.

Love this school and all they have done for my son. Went from not being able to identify the alphabet, we tried daily, to fully reading in one year. Ms. Labrador is the best.

We are about to pull our son out of this school! It is absolutely horrible! I've been involved in education for many years and I have never seen a school run so poorly as Neptune Elementary. The teaching staff does not encourage parent involvement. If they could keep parents from being involved at all they would. The administration there is non-existent. My child has been there two years and to date I never see the principal around campus. It's no wonder the school rating has dropped.

Staff and administration are very rude. They do not act to promote parent involvement, but rather work against it. It is the only school that I have EVER experienced (military family) that has treated me with such disrespect. The first day of school, they lost my child's records and were unable to place her in the appropriate class, and then when I got hot and explained them that this was their responsibility, I explained to them that it was their fault because they had my child's records for for the entire summer. Since that conversation, it seems as if there is nothing that can be done right, and my children are taking the blunt of it every moment. My child got an infraction for being disrespectful when the teacher was just as disrespectful to my child. My daughter asked when she was going to get her item back from the teacher who then told her she would give the item to her teacher. When My daughter responded that she needed the item, the teacher's response who "boo-boo" in a derogatory way. When I went to the school to talk to the teacher about the situation, I waited for over an hour to speak to someone, and was told they had no idea how long it would be, leading

The teachers that have 504 students treat them as if they are how they are, because they choose to be. For a teacher to tell a child ,in responce to the child saying that her new medicine takes a while to kick in, that her medication is only an Excuse is not only rude but insulting. Also, they treat 504 students with no regard to the parents.. For example. They took my sister who is in 4th grade, put her in In school suspention without telling my mother or father, gave her MIDDLE SCHOOL work, then demoralized her by asking why she was unable to do the work. That is Mentally abusing children by expecting them to do things they havent even learned then reprimanding them for not being able to do it. When my parents looked into it, and asked WHY they were not notified, they got the response, "because its <Her name>". This school needs to be looked into.

The school is rated "A". You can't ask for a better school. The student pickup/dropoff car loop gets a little crazy. At least you get to see the parents nice cars. 65% of kids in Osceola County get a reduced or free lunch but 95% of the parents drive nice vehicles. I guess they had to make a choice.

I love everything about the school, the teachers are fantastic and they make you feel welcome. I'm so happy that my children are a part of this school.
