If your child has a disability don't send them there, they'll try and get the child out of the school as quickly as they can. Also switched schools for my daughter due to multiple issues of sexual harassment. School doesn't allow children's counselors to come

Decent school but doesn't set students up for the future. Skills like innovation and imagination aren't taught. Classes are filled with busywork and doesn't properly assess ones knowledge. The counselors are counseling many students at one time, which has multiple negative impacts. It seems like all teachers having different teaching methods and doesn't accommodate to each individual. I noticed a lack of motivation/drive in students when it comes to academics. The environment and community is great.

This school is way too big. Children who aren't in the AP classes are left behind. It seems that Heritage wants to compete with SASA, but that isn't what they are supposed to be: They are supposed to be a public school which is concerned for all students.

Easily the top High School in the area for academics and athletics. The teachers are great, the IB Program is something that no other schools around offer, and the quality of learning is above the area's other schools.

Your average public school with typical liberal progressive agenda, major focus on sports at the expense of academics.

Heritage has more to offer than other schools in Saginaw County. The International Baccalaureate classes and Advanced Placement courses provide students with a top-notch curriculum. The diverse student population is the best! And the after school opportunities (clubs, band, choir, orchestra, sports, drama, etc) can't be beat!

As a parent and teacher I would grade Heritage High School an A+ In any category related to education. The administrators, counselors and teachers are 100% behind the success of every student at Heritage. Their learning facilities are the best in Saginaw County as well as their athletic facilities. The security around the high school is as good as it gets and students are made to fail safe. The only difficulties I see involve the student-parent relationships in which parents do not provide the student with the educational facilities and supervision they need at home.
