Good. I am excelling in all my classes. I also passed the SAT with 1400, so if you’re a diligent student, you can thrive. The students here are kind when you get to know them, very protective and supportive if not school smart.

This school sucks. Lots of fights, rats and other bugs. Complaints about everything went in 1 ear and out of the other.

The school is fine and I have had no problems with my child attending. Foothill has had a good reputation for a long time. If you are complaining about

This school is awful. Kids are horrible to each other! Constant fight even with campus police watching at all times! If you love your kids please don't make them go here.

This school has some SERIOUS PROBLEMS! Not only does the admin staff and certain teachers lack communication skills, but it is your children that will suffer. Staff ALWAYS has an excuse for ALL OF THE MISTAKES THAT OCCUR! And the Teachers & Admin are not held accountable!

What is the school environment like for the 2012 year? Is it a safe campus or is there gang activity?

This school has always gained a good reputation in my neighborhood. It has been through a lot, and yes it is old, but it continues to be diverse and confident in maintening a good atmosphere for my children.

I was a student at Foothill and now that I am gone my sister is a student, and it looks like foothill is changing for the worse. It has been having problems with test scores since I've been there and still is. Some of the teachers are wonderful, but there are just as many that don't do their jobs whatsoever. There aren't many options for extracurriculars unless the student is interested in science. The school does have classes to meet all the A-G requirements, and a few extra science classes, and very little for students interested in the humanities. The club scene was not particularly active, except the german club, and few student events were held when I went there. Howevver, the students do stand up for themselves where they can when the administration is unfairto the students and some of the beloved teachers. Overall, the school is not very academically minded, but the students do have (mostly) okay relationships with eachother and some of the teachers, but all the same, I'm glad to have graduated. It si going through some changes that are very odd and I think impractical, so it's a school to watch and see what happens before making a big decision on it.
