Our son has attended Cornerstone Christian School for roughly a decade including preschool. In that time I have seen teachers get tears in their eyes over proud moments as well as the tough times. They truly have a love for the students. They have been there to pray and hug him through everything from skinned knees to difficult emotional days. The teachers and faculty are more like family than a school and I cannot imagine our son anywhere else. In addition, they are extremely impressive academically. This school teaches Godly principles both through instruction and action. I could not recommend Cornerstone Christian School any higher than I do!

Our daughter has been attending Cornerstone Christian School since preschool, and it has been a great experience. The teachers, staff and all the families are Christ-centered and like-minded. We love that Biblical learning is included in every subject. We are blessed to have found Cornerstone!

Cornerstone Christian School is dedicated to partnering with parents who want to be faithful to raising their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ. The teachers and staff treat their work with the utmost regard, serving the Lord wholeheartedly. The love, care, and compassion they show to each student is truly inspiring. It brings me great joy and peace to know that my children are being taught in classrooms by people who love the Lord.

Our two children attend Cornerstone and we plan for our third child to start next year. Our experience has been wonderful. It is refreshing to know our children are daily surrounded by a God-honoring administration, teachers, and peers.

CCS has been a huge blessing to our family. We are thankful for the schools’ tenacious commitment to classical education, including music, the arts and great books. All 4 of our kids have attended here. We are continuing to see other examples of well rounded graduates who commit to serving others, engage their community and model self ownership in every aspect of life.

Horrible experience of my children who have stayed at this school for one year. In the classroom it is forbidden to turn and smile ... for a student receives a mark of disobedience , and after three marks the student is deprived of the opportunity to have lunch time. A principal, a person who does not have enough control over himself in anger, does not react to the questions of student's parents. Freely can shout at children. One of my children had several meetings with the principal and then was suspended from school for one day only because in the first month of admission to school he tried to partially do his homework at school, since his homework takes 5-6 hours at home, and he there was no time left for rest. When the principal called us, the parents, to talk and pray about it .... then this meeting was held in the hall of the school with office workers and randomly entering parents. The director came to us and did not even greet us and began to shout at my child that he must obey him ... when the parent tries to explain to the principal why the child does this, was stopped by the sign of his hand, continued shouting at the child and then abruptly turned out of school. Even so, after leaving this pseudo-Christian school this year, I ran into gossip that spread in the school about my child being kicked out of school, while we ourselves made the decision to leave such a school. When you enter this school, you must sign a contract that you will never start a trial, so many parents after having problems in this school simply leave it without being able to tell truth of what is happening in the school. It is regrettable that this school proclaims Christian standards which itself does not follow, which leads to the direct education of the Pharisees or turns away from faith in God.

There honestly are not words (but I will try)... When we first considered this school it was because of what we didn't want, we didn't want evolution taught as a fact to our child, we didn't want boys going into girls bathrooms, but we now realize the reason we love (and I mean love) this school and all that is stands for isn't about what it doesn't do, but it is more about what it does do... My child is educated in every subject with the Bible at the foundation of all that he is taught. His teachers and the Head Master are some of the most loving people I have ever met. Academically, our son is in 1st grade and reading at a fourth grade level. When attending concerts or musical events the I felt more like I was listening to a symphony in an expensive theater, I could not believe it was a school performance! This school has not only changed the life of our son, but our whole family has changed due to the Christian guidance and love that Cornerstone promotes in everything they do. To sum up, we were not planning on living in this area long term, and solely based on how important it is for out son to stay in this school we have decided to live here for 13 years (he started in kindergarten). We are so blessed to have our son at Cornerstone!

We are very pleased with this school and never thought such a gem was hidden in our neighborhood! The values are exactly the same as what we teach at home so there is no double standard - we are confident and comfortable knowing that our children are in good hands and taught the truth! We love CCS!

We love CCS and it has been a huge benefit for all of my children who have attended. I would disagree with the 2 star review in that they teach how to think and what to think when it comes to what the Bible says we ought to know. Very sound doctrine and family like atmosphere! We love CCS!

I honestly don’t know what we would do without Cornerstone. God has provided us with a place we can send our kids where we can trust that the teachers have their best interest in mind. We can encourage our kids to humbly submit to the leadership and to work hard because we know that rather than working against us, our school is working with us to provide our children with a biblical worldview for life.

The school provides a top quality education with a strong emphasis on music and art. I sent my kids to a well-rated charter school and had them transferred within weeks to Cornerstone because the quality of the education was much lower. Cornerstone sets a high bar.

There is more to teaching than simply the academia. Each child is a unique and precious person here. CCS exhibits this fundamental core in their mentoring, by providing students an education based upon academic excellence and biblical values. Each child is given the tools to be the intellectually-equipped, community-focused, and anchored disciple. There is no greater reason, than the above, to have our children here.

As Registrar of Cornerstone Christian School, I want to respond to the November 9, 2015 student review. The student is correct: CCS does have wonderful teachers who care about education and who do a great job teaching the gospel. And yes, CCS has more strict standards than most schools, which includes our dress code policy. We believe the dress code is necessary. We strive for modesty and professionalism in dress, and we want our teachers to focus on educating the children without having to police immodest or inappropriate dress. This is not a matter of pride; it is a matter of purpose.

My children are being taught both what is right, and grace. It is hard to get both, but Cornerstone is doing a great job of it! Also our kids are challenged to grow academically with a wide variety of subjects. (Math, reading, art, Bible and music etc.)

Both of my children graduated from CCS. Besides the wonderful education they received, they were able to experience extra curricular activities they may not have tried in a larger school. I believe this helped them to be well rounded leaders. They are now teaching and training their children as well as being productive Christian citizens. Cornerstone was a blessing to our family during very tough times. I know that the staff are servants and desire to provide an excellent learning environment for each child.

Cornerstone is a place where my children receive a top notch education! The teachers truly care about the children's academic and spiritual growth. Cornerstone comes beside my husband and me in raising our children to be christian leaders and disciples in our community.

We've been involved with this school for almost 10 years and we love it! The staff and teachers are truly wonderful and dedicated. The children receive a great biblical foundation along with rigorous academics, helping them become the leaders that we need more of in today's world.
