So pretty good school. Lots of kids trying to fight over tiny things. The teachers are awesome. Students are good if you find the right ones. The only complaint really have is that the campus is REALLY dirty. Like if you touch the basketball court in the gym you have to scrub tour hands for 5 mins

The teachers here are fantastic. The administration was everything I could hope when my son was blindsided and attacked at lunch. Drugs were everywhere on campus and fights broke out often. The education is worth risking the violence and drugs.

This school used to be great. But it has slipped into being a mediocre middle school run by poor administrators, woke office personnel, and propped up by weak to o.k. teaching. The Band program and the arts programs are nothing like they used to be. The other thing that you cannot get away from, is this location. Watt Ave is the worst maintained ave in all of Sacramento. The traffic on Arden is absolutely the pits. Steer clear of this "once upon a time" jewel of San Juan Unified School District.

Ok. Went there back in 83 - 85 when it was a junior high. Can say more about that later. The new rebuild looks horrible. However, it is fitting as it combines not only the off-puttingness and impersonality of the school system but the heartlessness, and abusiveness of the people in general and the particularly controlling dictatorial mentality of the staff, instructors, and administration of SJUSD and other school districts.The academics were advanced and well done but just about nobody cares about that sort of thing.

The new campus is beautiful! The kids are happy! Its so safe with all the security cameras.

We are very disappointed with Arden. The new administration lacks common sense, maturity and professionalism. The school is also tremendously overcrowded. The area of Watt surrounding the school is littered with grocery carts belonging to homeless people. Not the environment one wants for their child.

We were new to the city & found this school to have a very inclusive environment. My 6th grader loves everything from the classes to the athletics & spirit squad & social opportunities. We choose this school over the invitation to attend Winston Churchill.

I'm a student at Arden and I love it! I'm an avid student and in HA an it hi ire you so many opportunitys to improve your understanding level. My mom loves this school to. The only bad thing is that their is a lot of drama at this school.im a 7th grader and this is my 2nd year and I've experienced that drama. But overall I reccemend this school for your 6th graders,7th graders, and 8th graders.
