John W. Armstrong is the only elementary school where my children will attend. It is such an amazing place to be. It is our seconf family. This campus and community go above and beyond and keeps expectations high.

I have never dealt with other elementary schools, but I really cannot think of anything I would change. They are great! They have been amazing with my kids.

I have 2 children at Armstrong. My oldest started and due to zoning was moved to another school , we completed the school year and then worked hard to get back to Armstrong . The staff is AMAZING , supportive and goes above & beyond what is expected. They have helped us with some challenges with our youngest child who was diagnosed with dyslexia and their dyslexic program has been wonderful to ensure he has the best tools to learn. We had some struggles w/ behavior and the teacher and staff put in time and effort and never gave up on him. The administrators even showed up to my child's sporting event to show support for him, this shows their level of investment in their kids and how much they care! They love their students as if they were their own and want to see them succeed. The school goes above and beyond for our kids education and keeps in mind that kids should enjoy coming to school to learn. I think this staff is hands down one of the best out there and they take pride in their work. The front office is tasked with many duties and handles their job well and does so with a friendly demeanor. There is a very active PTA at this school and many parents are involved to make sure the staff and students have what they need for a effective and fun learning environment.

Excellent school!! This is our third year and we are absolutely happy. From administration, to office staff and teachers, they are all amazing! My daughter also receives speech therapy and I am happy how they have taken care of her needs.

This is one of the best elementary schools in the state. Friendly staff, diverse student population and involved parents make this a great place.

I will definitely be changing schools next year. This school has gone down hill every year and my kids have been there for over 3 years. I wish I could tell you the teachers name that finally did it in for me and the front desk staff person but in the end it doesn't matter. My kids will be in a better place somewhere else next year.

This school is terrible in communication, effective teaching, front office assistance, and respect. Unless your on the PTA or can spend all day everyday at the school don't expect for them to allow you to be involved in your childs education.

My son loves school. He has grown and learned so much. I attribute that to his wonderful pre-k teacher, the excellent staff, and great sense of community shared amongst the parents and teachers here. Thank you all for an amazing 2010-211 school year!
