  It's a good school with little hazing or harassment by schools. The teachers are knowledgeable and want to teach. It does not have slower paced math classes in 6th and 7th grade if your student is challenged. It also takes the school most of the year to determine if your student is improperly placed in a math class. Parent/teacher conferences with problem students place a lot of the responsibility for correcting the deficiencies back on the student and tend to leave parents without much control. This approach does push kids to step up to the plate but it also tends to fail (miserably) for kids who are not ready to step up to the plate. According to the school, kids are either regular kids with no problems or special needs kids with problems that only tend to get diagnosed after most of the school has passed and therefore is wasted. The school needs to adjust their policy and procedures to reach these kids who are in between these extremes and not let them waste an entire school year. That is an avoidable result if the school applies more individually based solutions instead of a 1 size fits all policy. ...More Reviews
