We moved from out of state and were zoned for Springer. We absolutely love it here! We have had awesome teachers who are always willing to help me when I have had questions.

Excellent school with a good size student to teacher ratioo

We moved from San Antonio and my child has special needs. I contacted the school before the start of the year and was pleasantly surprised to hear that I could meet with the staff, teacher, nurse, principal, all before school started. I could train the teacher/nurse before school started. The nurse is AWESOME! Our teacher is great and takes care of my child the same way I do. I have no worries or stress. The first day we stopped by the school, the coach walked around the corner and without being told, recognized my child. Wow! Each day the Principal asks me how things are going and we love the 504 coordinator. My child is learning rapidly and all of the teachers are happy, excited every single morning and willing to teach. This school has a very diverse and that equals extra funding for the school. This school receives great computers, extra books and the best bilingual teachers. I am a former military officer with exceptionally high requirements. This place rocks!! Don't read the old reviews! Even the PTA is great! They do fund raisers targeted for the students who are at the school!! Come to this school! You won't be disappointed. :)

All three of my kids attended Springer. The teachers have been great! They are always willing to help kids excel at any level. They go above and beyond to help before or after school if a child needs some extra help. They also have provided transportation to my children in 6th grade for math so they could attend math at the middle school. I don't know too many schools that would do that!
