St. Raphael School is am amazing community- very warm and welcoming! We have had children in the school since 2010 and have experienced everything from the nursery school all the way up to the middle school. We have been blessed with wonderful classroom and specials teachers who are creative, engaged and adaptable. Their ability to adapt was especially true in 2020 when the pandemic hit. St. Raphaels has worked hard to adapt to everything that came along with the pandemic and we were blessed to have our chidren there for in person learning last school year when many schools in our area remained virtual. St. Raphael School is a wonderful community with a kind and caring leader in the Principal, Teri Dwyer. The strong, faith based approach is evident in everything they do. One of the most special aspects is how they start the school day every morning with morning prayer. It is truly a time for the students to refelect and prepare for their day ahead and something that is a unique part of a St. Raphael's education. I can't say enough wonderful things about this school!

Our prayers were answered when we discovered St. Raphael School. It’s not just a school, but a welcoming community of families and educators working together in the best interest of all students. The teachers and staff clearly find joy in what they do and bring their best to these students every day! The principal, Mrs. Dwyer, is a true leader – talented, experienced, devoted, warm, and always has time for you. The physical environment is beautiful and clean; the school has a science lab, media center, and technology everywhere which can be pretty rare for a Catholic school! We especially love that our children receive an individualized education through differentiated learning and small-group instruction. Plus they get a lot of time to be physical and play outside! It was amazing to witness how the school adapted when COVID first hit and was able to balance the needs of students and families with safety. As a result, the students and SRS community continue to thrive! We couldn’t have asked for more from a school during these challenging times.

We absolutely love St. Raphael's. Teri keeps play-based learning at the core of the school. The children love learning and stay engaged and inspired. St. Raphael's is much more than a school - it is a community of educators and parents who sincerely want the best for you and your children.

We moved to Maryland almost 3 years ago. We didn't know anyone and knew only what we read online about St. Raphael school. The minute we walked in, we felt it in our gut that this was the school for our son. He started off in the nursery school and is now in 1st grade. All we can say is that we are so blessed. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive. In addition to being strong academically, we absolutely love the strong catholic identity. We cannot imagine being anywhere else. We do not have any family here, but St. Raphael is our family now...

My 8th grade daughter has attended SRS since Kindergarten and I cannot say enough good things about the school. The community is amazing and the friends we have all made are definitely lifelong ones. The Catholic identity is very strong and is taught in such a joyful way that my whole family's faith has improved with our daughter going to school there. The academics are fantastic with small class sizes and enthusiastic and accessible teachers. I know my daughter is well prepared for high school, as is her peers.

We are new to the school and really love it! Our son is in the 3's program and our daughter is in kindergarten. They both come home so happy singing songs, excited about their drawings, and tell us about their teachers and their friends. The religious aspect is amazing and we love how much they've learned already. Everyone is so, incredibly nice and welcoming! We feel very fortunate to be a part of this wonderful community. We are truly grateful and appreciate everything the school does. Thank you St. Raphael! We are so happy here!!

A perfect combination of warm and welcoming with a strong catholic identity. The small group sizes (1:9 student teacher ratio for reading and math) enhances learning. The teachers have creative teaching methods and neat projects. Field trips are outstanding.

This school is great! I'm so happy that my kids have the opportunity to study at St. Raphael, because not only the teaching level is high but also the staff is amazing; starting by the Principal Mrs. Dwyer, a lovely person, who cares about kids and parents all the time. I wish there was a school like this when I was a kid!!

This is a wonderful community that inspires learning, creative thinking and kindness. From the whole school daily meeting to the individual attention, the small group learning and the overall atmosphere --I love it. More importantly my kids do too! What a great place to be!

St. Raphael is a community where everyone knows your name. In the large Washington suburb we live in, St. Raphael is family. The teachers know their students and what each one needs. The small groups allow every child to reach their full potential. But most importantly, Jesus is the center of our school.

I give them five stars b/c they care about EVERY child's education & well-being. Learning is customized to your child. They have a proactive emotional support program to help kids socially. They incorporate community service into their curriculum. The administration embraces new ideas that will help the kids succeed in the future & is not afraid of change. Parents are very involved. The staff, teachers, principal, etc. truly love their job and are always enthusiastic when delivering their lessons. The school values the indivudal talents of every child and tries to promote and recognize them. A truly amazing community.

St Raphael provides a warm nuturing environment where all students are engaged in learning through many cross-curricular activities. Our child transferred in mid-year, and within 2 weeks felt totally at home and at ease. The differentiated learning, i.e. splitting the small classes into even smaller groups based on abilities, has been most helpful. All in all it is a wonderful school.

St. Raphael, is the best ever, my daughter has been attending this school since she was three years old. The school has the best teachers, staff and priest are all involve with the students and the parents, Having smaller classrooms, even all the subjects taught here are so well planned for every grade and students, they have special classes for students that are ahead of their grade level, also classes for those students that need little extra help, even there field trips are soon well planned for each grade. I like the idea that religion can be taught as well as spoken in classroom as well as the hallways. Also I like that the school has the best structure for all the students. I attending public school system, the private school are the way to go with your children, you can't bet the education level with the public school. I like that the students has homework during the summer to keep the children focus. The food is good for the students, the school is kept so clean, As a parent I'm so glad I chose this private school for my children, I only have one children and want the best education, she gets all A's in all subject expect math is B, she wouldn't have other schools.

My daughter is happy and thriving at St. Raphael. She's challenged academically and is taught by instructors who are well-educated and devoted to their job and to the children they teach. My daughter's confidence has grown with each year. We couldn't be more happy with St. Raphael School.
