Owners the Zirabas are a disgrace. The school has rats and snakes. The teachers are caring but lack in other ways.

After having our kids at Montrose Day School for two days, we pulled them out. Here’s why:Before the school year started there was no communication about the first day. When we showed up on the first day at the normal time (not for before school care), the head of school and my daughter’s main teachers were not there to welcome our children. Only two teachers were there serving breakfast.I saw them use TV/videos during a walk through and was told that was only because of extreme weather and the teachers not being able to get there in time to deploy the kids to their classrooms. But when I went to pick up my kids for their trial days, they were using videos again. On the second day, my daughter said her favorite part of the day was watching cartoons. They lost all of our paperwork, including medical records. When we terminated, we asked for the owner’s contact information – repeatedly – and were not provided his phone number or email address, and it pains me that he didn’t care to hear our feedback or want to improve the experience for other families. Narema, head of school, is a disgrace to the education system.

The teachers are excellent and caring but the direction is lousy. Nobody to pick up the phone and nobody returns calls or messages, charging a lot of extra money for false reasons, sending bills for what is already paid. I do not recommend that school.
