My child had gone to this school from kindergarten up till we pulled them. There was some good teachers, but anytime my child came home about getting punched, or bullied and it was addressed with the school nothing was ever done about it. The bulling continued, to the extent where my child didn’t wanna go to school anymore. Our first year they had gone to the restroom where an upper classmate punched them in the stomach. It was reported and nothing which was just the start of it. There was a teacher who picked on and singled out my child as time there continued. Come to find out I wasn’t the only parent who had a child come home upset because of this teacher over the years. This is just to name a couple.It’s sad because the school is where children spend most of their time in as they grow. They are supposed to feel safe, but this didn’t provide that safety for my kiddo.

When we moved here our kids were about to start school. Everyone in the area told us how "special" Freeman was. They were right. It's hard to convey how much we love this school and more importantly how much our kids love it. It's truly a community. The Superintendent, Dr. Randy Russell is on the sidewalk every morning and every afternoon greeting and saying goodbye to the kids as the come and go. It's genuine, not some show. This top-down involvement shows. The teachers, front office, administrators, paras, bus drivers, etc...all love "their" kids. Our kids' teachers have the opportunity to really get to know them and take an individualized approach to their learning whenever they can. Our kids are thriving! There's a reason people choice into this school when they can. FREEMAN STRONG!

I couldn't ask for more! Freeman Elementary has been outstanding in every way possible! Small classes, GREAT teachers, AMAZING students/parents! I have never met more people who honestly care about everyone from the students, to the parents, to the staff, feels like one big family!
