Bamber Valley has been great for us! My kid has ADHD and has been thriving well with their resources and extra help when needed!

My children have loved their time at Bamber Valley. The teachers are kind and motivating! They look forward to school, and have learned so much. We have had to use both gifted as well as special education services, and both have been excellent. Additionally, every home room teacher has been fabulous at teaching, and always helpful. Sometimes I wish the RPS district offered more enrichment opportunities at the grade school level though. I would love to see foreign languages and musical instruments taught in grade schools outside the immersion school. Overall our experience with Bamber has been very positive, though.

The staff is friendly enough and do care a lot about the kids. My criticism is not at them. Opportunities for students to excel at different things are lacking. Mostly kids from rich families get to have more opportunities as they can pay. Arts offerings are abysmal and the facilities (gym/auditorium) do not meet needs. I do have a bias of transferring from a district that did everything better, so coming to this elementary school has been an overall disappointment.

I started my elementary education at Harriet Bishop and then I went to Bamber for 2nd grade onward. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to go there and everyday I hope that the school has the same effect on many other students.

The absolute BEST! BEST principal, best staff. I can't say enough good things about Bamber. They strive for and obtain excellence. The positive leadership starts at the top and permeates the whole school. They will never give up on any student, are firm yet fair. Everyone is given an environment in which to to take their talent and abilities as far as they can. A large school means more options and more opportunities. Parents are very involved and encouraged to do so. Expectations are clear. Principal is caring and ALWAYS positive. Circumstance had us in three private schools before Bamber; Bamber tops them all in my opinion. It is a rare find, a treasure! It retains some of the "best of the best" staff in the area. Going out of their way to make your child succeed is the rule rather than the exception.
