I am a former student from folwell. I had to transfer schools after second grade since I had a very traumatic experience at my other school. Folwell was very welcoming and accepting of me when I transferred, which is relieving since I had dealt with constant bullying from the students from my other school. I absolutely loved the environment this school had. I felt safe here which should be expected but given my past experiences it was a surprise to me. The students are very well mannered and they were all nice to me even though I was different.

Folwell is a small neighborhood school that is very friendly and inclusive. Our son has been there for three years and loves going there. All his teachers have been amazing! The teachers and staff really care about the students. It has a strong PTSA which allows for many opportunities for the students. This adds to the already strong academic curriculum.

We have two children at Folwell. Every teacher has been nurturing and caring. Our children love their teachers, and do very well on the national standardized tests. Our kids have made very close friends here. The other parents are also very friendly and been great resources as well. We love the smaller, intimate feel of this neighborhood school.

This is a wonderful, welcoming, exceptional elementary school with outstanding teachers and supportive top caliber administration. My son has been at Folwell for two years and has thrived and grown. Definitely a fabulous environment.

I have one daughter (with special needs) who just started middle school and two sons who are currently attending Folwell. I can honestly say that the Principal, teachers, and paraprofessional are fabulous! They are dedicated to the children and truly care for their well-being. I volunteer in my childrens classes at least a couple of times a month and am always impressed at how inclusive the children are of one another. The current special education teachers are amazing. Their dedication to the children and open communication have been my daughters key to success. In addition, they take a TEAM-based approach (principal, teacher, special education teacher and parents). There is a very large number of parent volunteers which makes this school extra special. The children really benefit from additional programs that the school district could not afford otherwise. I am proud to be a FOLWELL parent!
