My daughter was a transfer student and because of years before her adoption was dealing with vision issues and Covid that were impacting her learning. Rochester was wonderful at working with us ! Her first grade teacher Mrs Probst was a godsend! She was so suportive and genuinely., loves and cares for her students! We love our experience with Rochester! All i have to say is numbers are just numbers. Its the people with the school who really make a difference! The Fosters

My son is currently been at Rochester for 3 years for Pre-K and will be entering kindergarten this year. His two teachers he's had have been amazing. We started with rochester through the early intervention program to help kids that are delayed in development. My child attends speech therapy for a speech delay. He also was diagnosed with ADHD this year and through working with the school and following his EIP plan he will be fully ready for kindergarten this upcoming school year. All I can say is I went to Rochester when I was a kid and got a excellent education and so far the education my son has received and the help in getting him from being delayed to being a above average student going to kindergarten this school earns 5 stars from me.

Although I think this school is probably the one of the better ones in the area, there are some very major things I do not like as a parent. They (the administrative staff) are very rigid. They do not adapt to any situation and is inflexible to the needs of the children. It's basically "do it my way or the highway" attitude. My child has some learning disability and I am a full time working parent with difficult hours. I thought they would work around it, because I have a friend whose children go there and they worked around her schedule. But when I ask them about that, they completely denied they ever offered any flexibilty. I think it's race discrimmination as she is caucasian and I am not. It is too bad, because the teachers seem very caring.
