The principal is disgusting to say the least and avoid calling her what she is ! Very disrespectful and rude, with a principal like that its no wonder teachers are quitting. The sad part is the district must know how horrible she is and yet her salary is paid !

The teacher and her assistant are very unprofessional and inexperienced. My child doesn't learnt anything so far. previously they had an outstanding teacher at end of 2015 but she was only for 2 months, if she was still there then there wouldn't be any problem.

My students classroom went through 4 teachers during the 2014-2015 school year. The principal didn't advise the parents of the turn over and poorly chose replacements. There were no progress reports or parent-teacher conference.

I agree with the negative reviews. The principal who left the position to teach out of state should come back. The new one they hired should really be somewhere else. Unprofessional especially with student interns. I believe she has a personal vendetta with the interns that they aren't working up to her militant standards when they wok so hard. The teachers care more about the students than she does and the staff is awesome. However the experiences I had working with a principal like that, I gotta say, not Impressed. Proud to say, after working with another more effective caring principal, I am now teaching special education for 3 years.

We have recently had an abundance of issues involving our child at this school. The IEP teacher lacks professionalism, and is highly inexperienced to handle these kids. My family and I recently pulled our child from this school due to bullying from other kids. We brought up the issues with the teacher multiple times, and nothing was being resolved. We involved the principal when our child was bitten by one of his/her pier. An investigation was supposed to take place, but nothing was ever resolved. More incidents developed, and we would inform our child's teacher, but nothing was ever solved. No reports, no disciplinary actions, nothing!!! It wasn't till the day our child came home in tears because another child in the same class punched him in the stomach. Our child told us that he/she had to hold their tears in because if other children saw them crying they would keep hitting him/her. We brought it up to the principal and a few members of the school board and got our child out of this horrible atmosphere. Inclusive the teacher had taken "selfies" in class with her students in the background and uploaded them to her Facebook, without any parents consent.

The reviews that were left prior to 2009 were all true and correct. This is no longer the case! My children have attended Stokoe since they started Kindergarten. I am so dissatisfied with the new principals lack of compassion for these children and their parents. I am a very involved parent and feel that a principal should care more about her students and their best interest. She wasted my time and has wasted my children's time. The teachers are great! (well at least the ones I have had the pleasure of meeting). Whenever there has been a concern I ask them for advice. I have never brought anything to this woman's attention because she does not care. Until, just recently and what do you know....... Nothing was done!!! I am not here to sacrifice my children for her experiments. She needs to be in another position. Or maybe learn some people skills. She is a bully and I will not stand for her behavior!!!!
