Prior to the current school administration LSA in my opinion has done right by my child. Her teachers K-4th grade loved upon her the way Christians should. My daughter is neurodivergent but doesn’t have a learning disability but uses a disability aid and has a service dog. Her K-4 teachers understood and embraced it and my daughter bloomed. This current administration the principal and vice principal along with her 5th grade teacher emotionally harmed my daughter. This is not an opinion but facts from her doctor and psychologist. LSA is not safe for neurodivergent children and the conference of Seventh Day Adventist stands behind the statement that they are free to discriminate and yet in the same breath stand in church and talk about how they love on the children with the love of Jesus.

This school kind of sucks not going to lie. I don't feel safe at this school though. A couple weeks back there was a guy who hopped the fence at lunch and I guess someone made him leave. They didn't call the police or anything. All of the teachers were in the Ministry Center eating lunch. The only reason they knew someone had hopped the fence is because one teacher was actually watching us at the field. Most of the time the person watching us plays basketball with some of the boys. Other times there is no one because there is no one available. I'm just really thankful that that one teacher was looking after us. The guy was also wearing baggy clothes, a beanie, sunglasses (that eventually fell off), and had a large backpack on. For that reason I don't think I feel safe at this school. But also a few years back the school counselor got arrested for putting up cameras in the boy's restrooms. Yeah, it's sick, I feel like I can't trust the school. For sports I'd rate it a 2.5/5. I've never been in any of their sports but when I see their game L vs W all I see are loses. They lose almost, if not all game. My friends also say that everyone one the team kind of sucks because there are like 7 people trying out and the team needs 10 people so they have to do what they have to do I guess. The teaching isn't the best but it isn't the worst. No one is excited to learn to be honest. I'm a straight A student and most of my friends have all F's. I'm not saying their dumb or anything, but no one in this school actually gives any care to their grades. Why is that? Because the teachers don't know how to control the class, most teach like they don't care and are really lazy, and they don't get payed enough! There are only and handful of teachers I know at the school that actually care. Our teachers are late to almost every class! One of our teachers made us wait in the rain for 20 minutes before she came. Another just didn't show up. The principal comes and asks us why we are outside and then gets mad at us saying it's our fault.I wouldn't recommend this school. Also notice all the five stars are from the parents... Oh and also NO ONE, not a single soul likes our school. No one takes pride and I don't blame them at all!

I am not the only student at this school has gotten there things stolen, honestly it doesn't matter what kind of school you go to there will be people that will steal your things. A friend and I almost a month ago got are money taken out of are backpacks. my friend and i were really sad about it and mad so i told the principals there both of them and nothing has happend since then. I haven't gotten any updates. Its very upsetting!! its not cool, they can do something about and they haven't told me anything. So i guess to them its no big deal. This kind of issue will just keep happening like it has with other people i know.

I have been attending La Sierra Academy since Kindergarten and I am currently a senior here. This school has done nothing but amazed me throughout the years I have been here. I have strived above and beyond academically and spiritually. I love the programs this school offers although it lacks some sports such as; football, water polo, and wrestling. However I will still give my school 5 stars for everything else they do offer. I would highly suggest this school for anyone looking for a school that will challenge them and help them succeed. It is a small school so you don't have to worry about being left at the end of the line for help and that's another huge plus to this school as opposed to Loma Linda Academy and other public schools. Overall this school has gone above and beyond my expectations and I think anyone willing to put in the work will also enjoy this school and the future they will receive from it as much as I do.

This school is wonderful. Teachers are all very caring. I feel like my children are safe here. Warm and welcoming environment. You won't feel like you are one out of a million coming here.

Our son is now a senior at LSA and has been attending since 2nd grade. We have already received over 7 college admission offers. Teachers are challenging, professional, caring and knowledgable. The entire staff is great and especially the business office. He has made great friendships with quality young adults with good morals. We are pleased with his grades, test scores and school support!

I love this school because they care about their students academically, physically, spritually and emotionally. They took all safety measures to make sure our kids are secure. The staff, teachers and their assistance are very very hard workers. The kids learn in a truely fun and loving environment. Whether the child is strong and need little help or the child is shy or has any type of problem all thrive and do their best.
