The school is located in a safe neighborhood. We appreciate that it is surrounded by homes where everyone looks out for the children. Many parents are involved, and the kids are provided with a lot of supplies. The staff are proactive about issues. Our daughter had a great experience going to Harrison.

We love Harrison all the staff and teachers are awesome. The PTA is very involved also and plans very fun activities for the students and families. Some of the teachers use class dojo which is amazing and great for communicating and knowning what is going on in the classroom. We are very happy at Harrison.

Principal does not contact you if your child is being bullied at school. Teacher bullied my son because he didn't understand the class work and she told him she wanted to embarrass him and send him to his younger brothers class for not understanding the work instead of helping him understand.

10 out of 10. I have been here with my kids for over 15+ years NOnstop. Things change but the compassion and teaching quality has continued to thrive. There have always been teachers to bring out the best in my 3 very different children. Get involved at your school and see where you can help.

Teachers are responsive to emails. That's a positive, but it can't outweigh the negatives in my opinion. Course language and a dress code that isn't often enough enforced isn't something my children should be forced to be around on a daily basis. I've seen shorts that don't completely cover rear ends there. The decision to pull out one of my children wasn't lightly taken, but it wasn't a difficult one. I will be looking into a transfer request for my other student since they need the special education, otherwise I'd likely be pulling them all out. I think the majority of your student's success will be on which teacher they get. But even so, the culture at the school doesn't seem to be one of high standards.
