Castigates and victim-blames peer abuse targets, causes peer abuse targets further ostracization and mistreatment by deciding that the problem is objects used as tools in physical attacks rather than the actual abusers.

What an underrated school. If I were to look at this site only, I'd never send my son here. But, he just finished 7th grade and had a great experience and is now in the National Junior Honor Society. All but one of his teachers were wonderful: inspiring, interesting, and caring. There are a TON of clubs: Latin, robotics, LGBT, science, and many more. The guidance counselor couldn't be kinder and more caring. There are very strong ant-drug and alcohol programs and education, and a strong commitment to proper behavior. My complaints are class size: about 30 kids per class, and the social studies teacher mentioned above. There also is way too much homework; my son works from the time he gets home until dinner time. He's exhausted; definitely has to work hard for the excellent grades. But, he learned true education (how to organize) and life skills, and takes part in many of the school's terrific opportunities.

My son goes to this school, i could not be happier with the teachers and staff. They help every child to succeed. Could not ask for a better school.
