Closing of school for Corona 19 shouldn't effect the level of these kids education at all.

My youngest son moved to this Dual Immersion program at the beginning of his first grade year. We were so excited for him to have the opportunity to learn in Spanish and all the while expand his English Language skills. He has made many good friends and enjoys the challenge of learning a new language. At times it is a challenge and he is worn out at the end of the day from the rigorous academics, however, he entered this school with zero Spanish skills and has already been making connections and progress as we near the end of his first year here. I am so proud of him and the commitment of the amazing teachers here. They are patient and kind and willing to give extra tips and materials to work with your student at home. I am very happy my husband and I chose to send our son to RLA.

Very poor administrative leadership and teachers really only seem interested in teaching Spanish language skills, not really a dual immersion program as the level of English spoken by students in higher grades is poor. Your child may come out of there knowing how to speak basic Spanish, but will be far behind in math, science, English, and pretty much any other academic subject.

The school overall was great. Most of the teachers were amazing and sweet. But the politics overall are like any other school. The principle does not even speak spanish and works at a Dual Immersion where parents are encouraged not to speak spanish. There was no real diversity at the school. My experience was not good and so I decided to move to another school.
