My family is incredibly grateful to be starting our 10th year at Saint Luke School. Saint Luke has become an extension of our home and family. We have watched our children thrive academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. The teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond to create a safe and loving environment where our children are able to thrive. Saint Luke has a tremendous sports program that is inclusive of all students. At Saint Luke we have found a welcoming community that fills our hearts with joy and gratitude.

My family has loved our experience at St. Luke School. The teachers, administration and staff are dedicated to growing the children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The academic programming is superior due to the expertise of the teachers and the curricular resources. The attention that is given to the students supports their academic and social-emotional growth. The no-cut sports program and the fine arts program allow the students to feel such a sense belonging and a sense of pride for themselves, their team, and their school community. All the students explore their talents in a way that fosters camaraderie. The families are a wonderful part of the community coming to watch and celebrate performances and athletics, making social events fun and welcoming, volunteering, and contributing to the community in any way they can. My family feels very much at home at St. Luke school.

Our child (F) has repeatedly faced issues with bullying, verbal and physical aggression, from the boys in her class. We've reported the issues at least 4 times, escalating from teacher, to counselor, to Vice-Principal, etc... with the continued promise of actions which never really came and results which left us no choice but to take her out of the school. While the teachers and staff are all really nice, the care for the safety of the students, respect for others is not really there.Unless you are sure your child knows how to defend his or herself, and you don't mind her/him being attacked. you should not consider this school.

We transferred to St. Luke from a local progressive school after having concerns of our kids’ learning, and could not have made a better choice than St. Luke. We have found an amazing school, with a thoughtful and well planned curriculum, loving and experienced teachers, and competent strong school administration. One of our daughters arrived well behind grade level in reading - the school has been amazing for her. The reading specialist has worked with her teacher to prepare a plan to help her learn and catch up, and we have seen wonderful results. And the improvement is not just academic - her confidence and happiness are way up.The parent community is also wonderful - very welcoming, very involved. We feel at home at St. Luke in our first year in a way we did not after three years at the other school. We cannot recommend St. Luke highly enough. Wonderful school, wonderful people, happy kids.

I initially fell in love with St. Luke School because of the environment and the Christian values that are part of the fiber of the community. There's safety and love that envelop the students as they walk in the door each morning. The love is given and received, and is almost easy to take for granted because it's just always there. The positive energy in the classrooms is due to the teachers and staff who have chosen to teach in a Catholic school almost as a vocation, as well as the children whose families have chosen this school. As a reading specialist and elementary and middle school classroom teacher, my trust deepened as I recognized the curricular knowledge base for which the administrators and teachers used to select their resources and programming. Their understanding and knowledge of brain-research-based instruction as well as their understanding of meeting the needs of the WHOLE child is impressive and unique in our present educational climate. Additionally, the partnership between the teachers and administrators has been instrumental in making the curriculum accessible to the students. St. Luke's is truly growing and nurturing critical-thinking, independent, well-rounded, soulful individuals.

St. Luke School has been a great place for learning and development for our child for the past five years. Her classroom teachers demonstrate an impressive level of expertise and tenure of experience. The school leadership creates a sense of community and there is a strong emphasis on being well-rounded. We find the phonics/reading curriculum to be especially outstanding and the special courses (i.e., art, music, Spanish, computers, social emotional learning and PE) to be very complementary to the typical coursework. Most importantly, our child enjoys going to school each day!

St. Luke has been a welcoming environment from the day we walked in the door to tour the school. The teachers are responsive, attentive and genuinely care for their students.

We transferred to St. Luke's after a family move. Neighbors recommended it. We are so happy we found it. The principal is terrific and a man of integrity and compassion. Teachers are understanding.

I would not recommend this school to anyone! The enrollment is down and fundraisers are obsessive. The facility does nothing to resolve problems out fear they may loose a student i.e money tuition coming into the school. Bullying has plagued this school, they do not accept children from different communities and the parent's even bullied the principal out of a job. The go door to door collecting money for their walk a thon, which is crazy in this day and age. I guess if your child is a police officer or firefighter you can do whatever you want. The tuition is ridiculously expensive.
