So many bullies in this school, nothing being done about it besides a little talk with the student. My son has dealt with bullies in kindergarten! A child should never have to deal with that at the age of 5-6. I had a kid scratch my sons face and the teacher failed to inform me of the incident. My son was so scared to go to school he would cry when I dropped him off int he morning .Teacher said my son informing her of the bullying was him “complaining”. It is your job to protect and teach our children, if you can’t do that correctly please don’t teach. I’m at the point I’m going to have to maybe pull him out of school and enroll him somewhere else.

Principle and teacher were very rude and not helpful to my niece who is special needs. We were really hoping this school would work out as its very close to her home. Unfortunately, it seems that the staff has been jaded by their jobs/life and it shows in their demeanor and their lack of compassion, professionalism, and community. I really hope staffing changes are made in the near future to help the children and parents of this school. School is a place that everyone involved should feel safe and comfortable and it's sad that this school's staff does not provide this simple ability.

I would like to say coming from another state, I really love this school. I have never had a negative experience. With everything going on with Covid and new laws. Orchard Elementry School staff deserve gratitude. You all have done a Great job.

Amazing teachers and staff. It's as smaller school with a great sense community. The principal cares for students and staff. The school does great with students with special needs.

This school ranks 4987 of 5222 California schools for a reason. They are understaffed creating an unsafe environment for students. My son has to LEAVE his class room 30 min /day so they they can help the NON native english speakers with their english while my son wastes time learning about flags in some other random class. The office staff (besides Patty who is nice) are miserable self important jerks. The parents show up at 3:35 pm to get their kids in pajamas w holes and appear unshowered. Just trash. Check their API and test scores. This place is a fast track to your kids future McDonalds career...if they survive the sad lack of supervision, staff apathy...and stay out of prison.

This school gave my kids a first-class education, but has had a harder time in recent years as funds have been cut for special programs. I especially appreciated the dedicated teachers.
