My son has attended Peter Cooper for 3 years. All 3 of his teachers have been amazingly sweet, caring educators. I have always felt that the administrators and staff embrace a culture of kindness, being helpful and actually getting to know the kids. The school teaches kids about nature and instills a strong respect of wildlife and nature in general. My son has gone from being a shy average student to being a very high performing and more confident student in the last three years. I feel that his teachers and positive environment have been a huge part of that.

Administration lacks ability to protect its students from a discriminating environment which is promoted by certain parent groups that are given free reign in this school district. Completely unethical and I would check schools record of segregation before sending your child to school here.

This school segregates and discriminates against their special education population, even going as far as publishing its student directory district wide labeling students by the program they are funneled into rather than by teacher, as it does with the rest of its student body. IEPs are not followed and they do not offer in class support classes as most other districts in this day and age do. Horrible learning environment.

Warm, inviting and close-knit. Peter Cooper school has beautiful facilities, caring staff, and involved parents. This is a wonderful place to send your K-3 grader and feel like he is in exceptional hands!

Very displeased with this school and it has been nothing less than a nightmare since I have moved here and put one of my children into the school. I have to say dealing with the people who work at this school has made me do a total 180 about how I feel about the Governor's stance on NJ public school systems; I now see what he was getting at.
