This school is great unless you have a child who requires more support or an iep. Getting them to move forward with anything regardless of the data not only they have but outside testing provides is like pulling teeth.

Wonderful school with compassionate and dedicated teachers and principal. Staff is always willing to spend the extra time with children and communicate with parents. There's lots of opportunities for children to learn and grow socially, physically, and academically throughout the year. Our family loves this school and it's amazing community.

Our child is in Kindergarten at Richmond Elementary and we look forward to the next 4 years at the school. The staff are all exceptional, put in numerous extra hours, and make the kids feel welcome and safe. I can't say enough about the dedication of the principal, who always has a smile for the kids. My son looks forward to going to the school and learns more each day. All this, and a top rating from the state to boot!

Richmond Elementary in Richmond RI is truly an awful school. The principal should not be a principal. She cares more about herself and her "investigating" then really getting things done or fixed. Most of the TA's are really incredible as are a few teachers, but the leader of this school is no leader at all. There is no real sense of community. There are very few things the school does that allows the sense of community. It's really sad, actually.
