This school is great. The teachers are so helpful and care about their students' futures. Our campus is really old and I really wish we had ethnic studies. I really wish we had more opportunities because I believe we deserve them but people judge us based on our school. I am proud to be a student at Richmond high because it's great and I wouldn't see myself going to a different school.

This school is really good but the students might not be. I like how all teachers are envolved with their students. i think that if you want to learn doesnt matter how the school looks like if you have the courage to go and learn.

No way I understand this school has 3 stars. Richmond high is impacted negatively because of the way people talk about it and think about it. I graduated with the c/o 2012 and excelled. Thanks to the extracurriculars and the staff, I am a confident student in college. I could not have pictured myself graduating from another high school and having been prepared for college in such manner. The staff are always very involved and create deep bonds with the students. I still keep in touch with some of my teachers and I can always rely on them for advice regarding courses I am taking in college. Many bash on the staff and the environment but bear in mind that the only limitation one has in this school is yourself. You put in what you get out! Get involved. Oiler for life baby!

I am a parent of a graduate as well as a current student.There are quite a few limitations at this school, funding, parent involvement, and behavior management. As a whole though the school works hard to make the school a safe and progressive learning institute. My graduate excelled at the school and was part of the largest graduating class in 30 years. She is currently is attending attending UCLA working on a major in Geophysics. Richmond does have problems. What school doesn't? On the whole though it has a positive learning environment. The teachers and staff all know and knew my childrens names. You don't find that in all schools. They know them because they're good students not trouble makers. There are a few but the majority of the are good hardworking kids. The teachers do genuinly care about the kids.
