Richfield Middle School is a dynamic and responsive school centered in the student experience. It offers a wide variety of opportunities for students from teachers and qualified adults that care deeply about all the youth in the building. I have worked in several Middle Schools in the past 23 years. This school, at or near the top. After working here for two years, I've pulled my own student from his home district to attend school here.

I have absolutely loved my experience with Richfield Public Schools, specifically RMS. The staff are absolutely wonderful and genuinely care about the students they serve. Great district and a wonderful building!

We had 2 students who attended RMS. They both loved the staff, the classes and the opportunities to be involved in sports and activities.

My child has been challenged, supported, and nurtured at RMS. The staff is very caring and value relationships with students. They provide advanced courses, and have dual language immersion track. Students are encouraged to be part of the school community. The site was completely renovated in 2021 and the building is safe and modern, providing space for collaboration and community.

I am a former student at RMS. I would say this school is average, but there are a few problems w/ it. The students can get very mean, building is somewhat small and old, students don't care about there schoolwork. On the other hand, the teachers are GREAT, they do their best work, really care about their students & job, staff is great, teachers. The students though are just out of control. They even need security and officers there! But they have excellent programs & classes. This school needs improvement with students.

My daughter had been going here for 3 months, And she got bullied the first grade. I could not imagine how many bullies this school has! This school is very poor it's teaching is very poor! I have moved to richfield this fall from eagan. And to be honest I miss eagan , it's schools were very HIGH compared to richfield! My daughter is gonna quit now and got back to eagan!
