I would recommend not joining orchestra as the current teacher is very unorganized, rude, and forces you to do stuff even if you aren't comfortable doing.

Orchestra is VERY disordered. Wouldn't allow me to participate in an important event even when I got the form to go, after 2 years of experience. Students are performing below average in this and teachers post work without a memory check.

Tbh, this school isn't bad, doesn't really help when students call each other racial slurs and the teachers don't pay attention, I've even seen 7th grader's underage vaping in the classroom and bathrooms, and the teacher didn't catch on, there was one teacher who encouraged their students to fight each other. and kids who are fresh outta elementary school and they're twerking, NOBODY WANTS TO SEE THAT. and last but not least in hallways 800 and 700, cafeteria bathrooms, and the connection hall bathrooms DON'T HAVE LOCKS ON THE STALLS, yet they can pay for new cafeteria tables. The only hallway that has locks on the bathroom stalls is hall 600, like how do yall only give 6th graders privacy to use the stalls when 7th and 8th grade stalls could possibly have risks of bozos kicking the stalls open while that kid is embarrassed and those kids just laugh while the kid's bottom half is exposed while they're using the bathrooms. and in my opinion, this school has great teachers. it's sometimes the students and the flaws i just listed.

They push bullying under the rug ALL THE TIME. And they just couldn’t care less when those same students are disrespecting the teachers. One of my teachers at the time QUIT her job because of the disrespect.

This school is horrible they don't help the kids when needed and the teachers don't care for the students.

The principal is not personable or approachable. They are more focused on the number of students instead of student progress. They also doctor grades and push students on. Am glad we moved and my child now attends a different school.

This school is the worst when it comes to bullying. They will try to push it under the rug and act like it never happened. I know cause my child was being bullied and I had to press them to do something. Also they don't care about the students being rude to teachers, staff members and parents who are visiting. I am not allowing my child to go back to this school.

Rex Mill Middle is a great school to attend. The Principle is fair and very involved in the day to day activities of the school. I would highly recommend this school to any parent that's looking for an accelerated math and science program for their child.

Rex Mill is a great school and 4 is a unfair rating my son has as attending for 2 yrs now, prior to him attending my niece and nephew were honor students . The team of teachers and staff care about the success I can't say the same for principle. We Need More Parent Participation teacher can't do it alone it take a community more than as showing up for Sports championship trophies. We have t o do better and take pride in community.
