So my fiancé wanted to sit with her six year old daughter during lunch, because she was acting grumpy after school. They made her do a background check before doing it. even though the background checks said it was for volunteers and there's a sign that says all visitors need to sign in, (nothing about a background check on the sign) she got the background. Two days later they never got back to her about the results so she asked what the difference was between a visitors and a volunteer, they didn't have a answer. The principal got all irate and said she was coming side ways at them, then asked why she was pushing so hard to be able to see her daughter. Just for wanting to sit with her daughter and asking a question. The parents should be able to go see what's going on to make sure it's a safe environment at any time.

What this school may lack in resources and programs they more than make up for in the dedication and professionalism of their teachers and administrative staff. There will be a new superintendent and principle with this next school year, but they will be working with a solid foundation. My daughter went here from K-4th and it was a great experience. The lack of a formal PTA or similar organization is the only thing that I think the school is really lacking.
