We love The Pinecroft School. The PInecroft School provides individual attention to each student and allows students to explore and grow at their own pace with the support and guidance of the extraordinary staff. We highly recommend The Pinecroft School for anyone looking to get their kids' education started on the right foot.

The Pinecroft school is nothing short of amazing! My children came out of the school well rounded and advanced academically. The Principal and teachers are dedicated and detail-oriented. I cannot say enough about this school- it is simply incredible! - JL

Pinecroft is an absolutely amazing school. In July of 2020 when it was clear that our public schools were not working on a plan to return to in person learning for the fall we pulled our two kids out and enrolled them in Pinecroft instead. This was a fantastic decision for both our kids. Here they were given individualized attention in a small, loving, supportive and safe atmosphere. There wasn’t a single out break of corona the ENTIRE year. My son has some attention issues and his teacher Ms O’Conner worked with us on strategies to redirect him to his work, helped make the work more engaging for him and is helping him develop and focus on his strengths, rather than harping on his weakness. Ms Pinto worked with my daughter tirelessly; helping her fill in math gaps that changing schools and the corona virus shutdown created. Ms Pinto helped her come from behind to a full grade year ahead in Math. I can’t say enough good things about this school.

Our son is currently a student at this school. To say he loves it would be the understatement of the century. He is pretty much ready to go at 6am. This school is exactly what my wife and I were looking for as an alternative to public school. Our son is a very shy and very quiet kid, we were very concerned about sending him to public school. We new he would just be lost in a public school classroom with 25+ kids. Finding Pinecroft was exactly what we needed. His current classroom has 5 students in it. An amazing student to teacher ratio. The result is an incredible learning experience. I cant say enough about the teachers and staff. They make themselves very available to the parents. This is a gem of a school that has a lot of really great momentum. I encourage anyone looking for small class sizes, an individualized learning experience or just a safe nonthreatening friendly atmosphere to come check out the Pinecroft school. Check out an open house or call the director for a tour, you wont be disappointed.

Both of our children LOVE the Pinecroft School! We, as parents, are EXTREMELY happy that we had a friend tell us about this school and that we went to their open houses. Pinecroft has had a positive impact on our children to the point that my 4th grader (who has been there since kindergarten) is looking forward to the beginning of the school year and was quite unhappy when school was over. She doesn't really look forward to winter or spring break. She always wants to be involved in the after school archery or other programs and she has been doing very well academically without stressing out about her assignments. My oldest graduated a couple of years ago and still wishes she were there.

Our entire family loves The Pinecroft School because of its small class sizes, individualized and customized learning plans, sense of community, caring and patient teachers, and opportunities for extracurricular activities. We also adore the awesome Director. My daughter LOVES her teachers (past and present). She also enjoys staying after school (Pinecroft Plus) for Doodle Club, Archery, MAD Science, Drama Club, and more! The school staff is also great with food allergies and communicates very well with us to ensure all the kids feel included in celebrations and all activities. We came here only expecting to spend the Kindergarten year, and now we would never change schools (at least until our child ages out of the program)! The tuition is very reasonable for the quality of education and nurturing that your child receives from The Pinecroft School.

Pinecroft has made a huge difference in my daughters education. They are affordable, offer small class sizes and individualized curriculum. The school motto is respect yourself, respect others and respect property. Best decision we made was to put her there.

My son has attended The Pinecroft School for the past 6 years (K through 5th grade). He is graduating this year. Placing him in Pinecroft was one of the best things my wife and I ever did for him. Pinecroft is small, with extremely small classes and the student teacher ratio is excellent (approx.8 students to one teacher). Additionally, there, your child is taught according to his or her ability, progress and skills. If you child's mathematical skills are two grades in advance of his age/grade, he will be taught as such. Donna Pinto and Mary King are some of the best teachers I have ever come across in my life, (I have 7 years of college and graduate school education). If I had any criticism of the school at all, it would be that the excessively coddle their students. Lastly, the tuition is very reasonable

This school used to be located right on my undergraduate campus at Wheaton College. Since then, it has moved, but students still travel to work at the Pinecroft school because it is such a great environment.

My 8th grader had just interviewed with the Director of Admissions at a private high school. Shortly thereafter, the Director gave me a rundown of their conversation. The most notable comment my teenager made was I went to Pinecroft for 5th grade. It was the best year of my life. Need I say more.

As parents of two small children, we became increasingly concerned with the growing classroom sizes and shrinking budgets of many community schools. We noticed an emphasis on extracurriculars and "teaching to the tests" over true quality education and personal one-on-one attention. When we found the Pinecroft School, it was our dream fulfilled: Small classroom sizes; individualized learning to allow each child to excel at his/her own pace; engaging field trips & enrichments; a strong sense of community. The teachers and "specials" instructors are in the top of their field. We would strongly urge anyone to attend an Open House. Once you do, you will never look back. Investing in a Pinecroft education is one of the best decisions our family has ever made.

This is a wonderful school for an open-classroom individual learning plan, great teacher to student ratios, exceptional art, music and language studies, and has a very comfortable family feel. Our daughter built confidence, strong leadership skills, made many friends and holds many wonderful memories from the walls of The Pinecroft School.

We have been fortunate to find Pinecroft for our daughter. It offers the perfect mix of excellent academics and a loving environment that builds confidence, kindness, and the desire to succeed. The kids are allowed to advance at their own pace (for example a 1st grader doing 2nd grade math). They are also role models for younger children, with close and appropriate teacher supervision. Our daughter came home so happy the other day because Mommy, I got to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the kindergartners today! We have been equally impressed with the Fine Arts program , and have enjoyed seeing the amazing creativity displayed by the children s projects at the bi-annual Art Show. Our daughter has been part of the Pinecroft Track Team this year, and recently participated in an indoor track meet at Wheaton College. She was the youngest member of the team, and it was really touching to see how encouraging and friendly the older kids in the team were, and how comfortable they made her feel in this completely new environment . Her teachers and the coach were outstanding as well. We felt really blessed to be part of this community, and enthusiastically recommend it!

I am proud to be part of the Pinecroft Community. Two years ago when researching options for my son s first year of kindergarten, I was thrilled to find Pinecroft. As soon as I left the school after my first visit, I knew I found the perfect fit. My son is now in his second year at the school and I am eagerly looking forward to next year, when my daughter will join him. The faculty are not only caring, but also instill a love of learning in the children. My son enjoys every day and has learned so much while attending the school. He is excelling in all areas academically and is also able to participate in unique programs like archery and music, where he is learning to play a recorder. We have had nothing but positive, rewarding experiences with the school and we would highly recommend Pinecroft to anyone who is looking for a quality education and a nice community for their child to grow in.

Nothing brings me more happiness than my childrens' happiness! At The Pinecroft School, my children are HAPPY. They (ages 6 and 9) love school. They love learning. They are nurtured, supported, and challenged. The Pinecroft School has helped my children strengthen their confidence in themselves. The small class sizes, phenomenal student-teacher ratio and multi-aged classes(k/1, 2/3, 4/5) allow for the faculty to really get to know their students. The art, music and Spanish programs are outstanding. Children are encouraged to challenge and express themselves. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have found The Pinecroft School and their amazing staff. My children are receiving an excellent education and are part of a supportive and caring community.

My children were blessed to have had the opportunity to attend Pinecroft. They were always happy, never wanted to stay home from school and begged to stay for the Pinecroft Plus Program after school. Pinecroft was a safe, comfortable and joyous environment for them. They had the opportunity to work at their own pace in the math and language arts classes. It gave them the feeling of accomplishment as they witnessed themselves progressing and in some way a feeling of competitiveness. I feel that they were very well prepared to go on to a very competitive academic independent private school, Thayer Academy, with much success. The Pinecroft staff not only prepared them well academically, they also provided a very nurturing atmosphere, where they knew that if they needed comforting for any reason, they would find it. The experiences they were exposed to in the sciences, social studies, fine arts, music, playing the recorder and the ability to learn Spanish was amazing.

The Pinecroft School is a fabulous school. Our children attended Pinecroft in their elementary school years. We were more than pleased with the education they received and the Pinecroft program. The faculty at Pinecroft is outstanding, able to care for the whole child (academically, socially, emotionally, etc.). We found that the balance between nurturing and reasonable expectations allowed our daughters to excel and become the best that they could be. Our daughters were in small classrooms with excellent student/teacher ratios. Pinecroft allowed our children to gain self-confidence, and work independently as well as in a group. The faculty created an atmosphere where there was the opportunity for individual learning. The faculty at Pinecroft always went above and beyond for every student always keeping the goal of what is best for the child in the forefront of their minds. The Pinecroft School helped our daughters to develop a love of learning and for that we will always be grateful! We feel that we were very lucky to have found The Pinecroft School and to have been able to send our children there!

A "great school", does not even begin to describe what an amazing school The Pinecroft School is. As parent of two children, who have attended Pinecroft from K-5, I am constantly in praise of this school and all it has to offer each of its students. The curriculum is designed to allow each child to achieve their greatest potential in a supportive and nurturing enironment. The teachers take the time to really know and understand their students learning style and work closely with each child knowing one size does not fit all. The art and music programs are second to none and the language produces Spanish speaking students beginning in Kindergarten. As an educational professional I have taught in and seen many other schools throughout MA and RI. The Pinecroft School is more than just a school to our family, it is part of our family. I give it my highest recommendation.
