Honestly I was quite bummed that my house was zoned for Mission Elementary. I had thought I was in the Bryn Mawr school zone. After discussing the pros and cons, I went ahead and enrolled my son into Mission Elementary. I have to say I have been very happy with Mission Elementary. The office staff is great. The teachers that I have worked with are absolutely wonderful. The principal is approachable. My child also has speech issues. He is able to meet with a speech therapist during school hours. She is always willing to discuss his progress and will suggest techniques to work on at home. My child's classroom has so many neat tools for learning. This year, the teachers even invested in an incubator and hatch baby chickens. I think that was a really neat learning experience for my child. I look forward to the next 4 years at Mission. I would highly recommend this school.

Awesome! My son started here in 2nd grade. Great teachers, they really worked hard to improve his reading skills. My son, since then has been on the honor roll. This school also offers GATE program, which my son is enrolled in. I would highly recommend this school.

My son started 3rd grade at mission. He was transferred from another school district that wasn't to fond of African Americans. Mission staff never showed us racism. I love them for that. Thank you mission for accepting my son, the African American. Joy.
