I've had 3 kids go through this school, one was the 1st graduating class (2013) and now my daughter is in her sophomore year! I feel that this school is one of the top High Schools around. I would agree that this school is a bit behind in offering services to those students who need extra help. However, the leadership and focus on getting these kids involved and college ready is top notch! The staff is terrific and always available. Their music (Choirs and Bands) and drama programs are top notch! I couldn't ask for a better school for my kids!

They have an average offering of classes, but excel in when compared to the nearby SB area. However, they do not fair well in helping with IEP or accommodations. Staff, & Teachers are not as helpful or supportive as they do not have a great system in place to assist. They are getting better with communication. Hopefully, the second semester will be better. First semester was significantly rough and my child (and I) were left without knowing who his advocate was until our first IEP meeting. They have a decent performing arts program considering the area and finances available.

I love Citrus Valley, my oldest is a freshman and she is always excited to go to school. I love the staff, the teachers are excited about their students which makes them excited. Absolutely wonderful, I'm very happy.

Correction to the "Every Citrus Blackhawk can tell you the motto: C.L.A.S.S. (Character, Leadership, Academics, Scholarship, Service)" it's -- Character, Leadership, ATTITUDE, Scholarship and Service. :)

My son will be moving to Redlands this Summer, and I would like to know if there is a specific area that he must live in to attend Citrus Valley High School? I have heard very positive things about This School

Citrus Valley High School is great! I came from a private school before and was nervous about the education. Personally, I think that I found more educational opportunities here. It's only their third year open and already they have so many honors and AP classes! Clubs are continually popping out of nowhere, there's a variety of sports available, and the teachers are great (for the most part): they are there to help you. The counselors are such kind people. The principal strives to make this a great school. Every Citrus Blackhawk can tell you the motto: C.L.A.S.S. (Character, Leadership, Academics, Scholarship, Service) THe principal is very involved and really cares about the students! I love the facilities; I guess you can say that smart boards are the norm. I forget that many schools don't use them. It is just a great atmosphere! We are off to a wonderful start; I hope that we will gain a great reputation.

Citrus Valley is a great high school! The classes available are impressive considering that this is the school's second year open. The faculty are amazing, well-trained mentors for all students; the students in general are probably some of the nicest students in Redlands. The campus is beautiful and high tech compared to the other two high schools in town. There are several oppotunities for all students to get involved in inluding band, choir, drama, several Honors and AP classes, foreign language, athletics of all types, and of cours awide variety of organized clubs. I love my school and I am so proud to be a part of this great opportunity. GO BLACKHAWKS!!
