My daughter currently attends LaLiberte and she is having an amazing experience. The school provides her with a warm and caring atmosphere with a great balance of academic and social learning. The principal, Mr. Bray sends home monthly newsletters that keep parents informed of school related news and activities as well as calls home with important information on a regular basis. In addition to that, I have found that the teachers also are fantastic with parent communication and also send home information related to the curriculum being taught and any additional information parents need to be aware of. LaLiberte also has many wonderful opportunities for students to have fun at their school such as the Harvest Fair, literacy night, grade level socials, movie nights, field day, and numerous fun and educational assemblies throughout the school year. I am proud that our town is able to provide my daughter with such a wonderful educational experience.

This school is ok, nothing special. Nothing sets it apart. They have no gifted / talented program, some teachers are great others are just ok. The specials like Art don't do anything very interesting or challenging. Music is better, but gym is mundane. The school is mediocre, nothing fabulous, nothing to brag about. If there was a viable private school or charter school nearby I would put my child in it as fast as I could. I'm looking for a school that values the whole child, teachers developmentally appropriate curriculum, minimizes standardized testing, enriches the educational experience and communicates well with parents. I'm not seeing those things, so this is the rating I give the school currently. Class size is large at 23-26!

My daughter transitioned to this school in 4th grade from another school district and the principal made every effort to make sure that she was made comfortable and included. I am very pleased with the school and the administration. They are very good at communicating with parents.

If your child needs extra help, don't count on the school to provide for your child. Coming from a frustrated parent of a child struggling in the classroom, there has been no help offered to accomodate for short comings. With a 1 to 25 ratio it is difficult for the teacher to treat each child as an individual and teach accordingly And the school is very tight with resources to help. For this reason and the many dead ends other parents have faced as well when needing additional resources for their child., I give a below average review. And I'm not even including the dismal school lunches, music and art programs.
