Some of the teachers are fantastic, but management is terrible. They do not handle behavior problems well. The reading program is a joke.

I have 2 kids attending Raymond; the first one is now in 4th grade, the second child is in 1st grade. They both attended the 3 and 4 yr. preschool program located in the elementary school building. This meant they could ride the regular school bus with the older kids, truly convenient and great prep. for grade school. Each year, I say, "There's no way they can get a better teacher than the ones they've had," And I'm proven wrong everytime! The principal is on top of everything, personable, caring, helpful...her own kids are students at the school. Every issue we've had come up over the years has been resolved in the best way possible. I love that I can communicate with the teachers through email as I have a child with some special needs so I need to stay updated so he can get the best care. His teacher this year has worked above and beyond to ensure that he masters all the skills he's struggled with. The last and maybe most important thing to add to this review is that this school does not put up with bullying. Kids are taught skills for dealing with social struggles and kids who bully are worked with as well. We've been extremely happy with this school and I'd recommend it!
