I would give this school 8/10 in my experience. In comparisons with other schools, the REAL Randolph High wants you to work hard and succeed with all the tools you will need in life. There is great community at RHS and in Randolph that you will not find anywhere else. From the teachers to students, the focus is the student's future and education.

The school has been doing a lot better since bringing on Mr. Allen, the previous principal did nothing and left everything up to Mr. Connetta who uses his power to harrassed students just because he had the authority to make decisions which the principal should had made in regards to the procedures and guidelines of the school as well as students. He has certain people he like and the rest feels his wrath. There has been parents who argued with him often and made complaints against him as well as tranferred kids from this school because of his attitude and his ridiculous rules set in place. Kids were getting expelled from school for a day or two for being late to class which is ridiculous. He misuses his role and don't see why he is still there. Mr. Allen has done well in his role and there's still some teachers that need to be replaced but overall it is much better.

The school has drastically changed since 2008 and before, I only saw one fight and that was between two people who hated each other anyway. The school has good staff, food is about average, teachers are helpful, and students seem to ignore you; which is better than them hurting or insulting you. Sports isn't the schools strong point, the football team is alright; but the other sports teams are average at best. The school does seem to have a drug problem, not selling but general usage is common place. One major problem with the school is the lack of budget that it is, the computers are old and slow; and the school doesn't even have TV's in any of the classrooms. The school is 3/5, and is worth going to if your looking to graduate.

The review posted May 19th was totally correct. School is terrible. Kids are always dancing around acting like idiots. It's hard to concentrate in class. Worst high school you could go to. I remember watching shows when I was little. I thought High school would be fun. This school sucks.

Randolph high has gone through some drastic changes since 2008 when it was almost taken over by the state. Randolph high, MCAS scores have increased over the past few years. As a recent graduate 2013. The first few years where difficult with issues the school had to deal with. My Junior and senior year wad much better. If it was not from the support I would have never achieved what I did at the school. I am dissapointed that I will not be attending the school with the new principle Michael Allen. He is an author of a great book "Two Faces of Education". Mr Allen has turned around Boston schools and I know he will be a welcomed face in Randolph.

I am a junior and we have no math or spanish books. The teachers show you YouTube videos instead of actually teaching. I have a sub at least once a day because the teachers never come to work. They dont care about you or your education at all and barely even return your graded assignments. Administration is overzealous and think they run the place but are doing a terrible job as seen from our ranking of 278/344 in the high schools in MA. Students are dancing and screaming and fighting in the classrooms. The food is inedible and yet you aren't allowed to even get your parents to send you real food during lunch without getting suspended. They target all the wrong kids when dishing out punishments. All in all this is a useless high school and I am glad I am leaving after this year. Its really a shame since Randolph is a great town in every other aspect...send your kids to private school or you'll regret it.
