The school district is a complete joke, I had a bad feeling about this school from the beginning. I requested to have my son transferred to another school prior to starting and the district denied me every time, a long with my appeal. My son is very bright and ahead for his grade. Normally TK hours at other schools are only 4-5 hours ,at Los amigos it was over 6 hours long, not to mention they did the same thing all day long nothing new or different. My son loved prek but when he came here for tk he was a different child, he would cry and beg me every night not to take him to school, he’d have to be pulled in by the school staff into class because he’d grab me and cry saying mommy please don’t leave me here, he was sad every day for a whole month and half. I tried to talk to the teacher and she acted like everything was normal, I tried to talk to the district again to plead them to allow my transfer they told me I’m only allowed one transfer request a year and once they deny my appeal there’s nothing else I can do. After weeks of searching I ended up finding a TK program with the city of Ontario and guess what ? My little boy was back to normal, smiling laughing, going into class with ease, it wasn’t til later that year that my son finally opened up to me at Los amigos on how kids were mean there and the teachers and staff did nothing, how they would just do the same thing over and over and that the teachers weren’t nice. If everything at Los amigos was normal, then how did my son go from depressed and hating school and then once I changed the environment he went to loving school and wanting to go every day? All the school cares about is attendance, all they care about is how much money they can put into their pockets from the bodies that attend; they aren’t concerned with the well being of children. If I say I can feel my son is being bullied, he deserves a better education please accept my transfer, and they continuously deny it, it’s heartbreaking . At the end of his TK he begged me not to go back to Los Amigos so we ended up moving.

I love Los Amigos! I have had the best experience as a parent and my kids love going to school everyday. I had my doubts about my kids going to this school when I read the initial reviews. Now, I can honestly say that since my kids have been going here, I've never been happier with the academic decision to send them here. The staff and teachers have been nothing short of the ideal models of what and how a school should be ran. I hope that if anyone is reading this with the question of "should my child go here" that they read this review and send them. I wish I had the support system and involved staff as my children do. Thank you Los Amigos! GO DRAGONS!!

This school has a beautiful campus. It also has great teachers. However since Principal Naylor left the discipline today is gone and it reflects on student behavior. Mrs. Naylor always put the students' needs first and was very present and involved. She was very respectful and respected and students' behavior was way better. The Principal now is always busy and absent in meetings. Los Amigos needs a better leader.

D- there are good teachers that I can't rate unfair. It is the leadership that I don't agree with.y grandchild didnt have enough points to walk on his 5th grade promotion.

HORRIBLE! There is a reason why this school has a 3 rating. They are clueless and just collect a paycheck. Children and learning are not their priority at ALL. Parents concerns are a joke to the entire staff. Matter are never addressed in a timely manner unless it has to do with a state testing because then...they are on you via phone, email and in person. Almost in a harassing manner. I HATE this school.

This school has an excellent academy quality, their teachers taking care of their students put into the first place their safety .

This is a good school generally speaking. It has good teachers, a good educative programs over all is has an excellent academic guide.
