I would rate it high. This school is more like a family. Your child is more than a number.

We attended the school for 1 semester. I could tell my children were falling behind from the work they were doing here compared to their previous school. The athletics is poorly run and we moved.

My family and I believed it would be wonderful for our children to attend a small school in a country setting. Quitman Public Schools has been a terrible experience. If you are not born and bred here, you are an outsider and the teachers and administration will not accept you. It also appears that most of the money in the country stays at the county seat. Very little improvements and the basketball gym is pathetic. Other schools in the area have new gyms, but they are located in other counties. Again, it appears all of the money for Quitman School stays in Heber Springs. Several of the classes do not have text books and the students are at a huge disadvantage if they need to find examples to work homework problems. This is a huge problem in alebra.
