Queens United was a very bad school for my son. My som complained about the smell of the bathrooms smelling like urine every time he walked by the bathroom. Apparently, multiple students on multiple occasions urinated on the radiators and left a very disturbing smell. He would also talk about being verbally bullied by the students. We had a meeting about it and even after the meeting, my son was still having issues. I had to get my son transferred to another school in the city. It was a much better experience for him and me. I don’t recommend this school for anybody planning to send their child here.

My favorite teacher is Mr. Trested, we call him Mr. T for short, and the other teachers I like are Mr. Conforte and Ms. Paul. All of the guidance counselors are very nice and Dean Pons keeps everyone cool, calm and, helps people who need support. He makes students feel safe. Dean Louis is nice and also makes the students laugh during lunch. We went to Holiday Hills for our senior trip. It was so fun. Also, the after-school trips were always fun as well. I am proud to call myself graduate of Queens United Middle School!

I love this school because of many different things. One thing is the people there are so kind to me and other students. There is one person that I love so much which is Ms. Trotman . She is so helpful and calm; she is doing a good role . Another person i think is a wonderful role player is Ms. Francis which is the principal; she changed this a lot. One of the most challenging opportunities is Delta Math. it takes like a whole month to finish it, but it is kind of enjoyable.

My experience in Queens United Middle School is very good.I think this because the teachers are respectful, there is rarely any violence, and they have a special class for children with disabilities. They also serve good lunch, and the teachers do fun things during classes sometimes.Additionally,Broadway Junior is something that I also enjoy because we can act, play and sing for 3 hours. There's also after school which is very very fun because we have clubs and play games.

My experience at this school has been very enjoyable because of all the things and opportunities this school has offered to me. For example, they have these learning tools like Delta math, Khan Academy,Common Lit and MyOn. The reason i find this school enjoyable is because of they things they do because we have had plays with good acting with Broadway Junior. We also have an after school that does things like have field trips to an arcade and also we had a pig party with a water slide, bouncy race, and hungry hippo; we also had cotton candy

I love this school because it can change and help grow a person from disadvantages to advantages. You learn new topics and become better at it. There are also many people around to help support you if you feel unwell or unsafe. There are people you can ask if you have any concerns or questions about the school. There are extra classes or courses that can help you if you struggle with your work. The teachers will explain the work to you thoroughly. Another reason why I love this school is the afterschool. For afterschool, there are many activities and rewards to do. In conclusion the school is very good. I recommend to apply.

I recommend this school because the teachers are welcoming and nice. For example Mr. C was very welcoming by having the same interests as me. We both like soccer and corny jokes because our sense of humor is hilarious. I like how the teachers don't let you forget the work you have by constantly reminding you. The after school is very nice; we went on a field day and a carnival. The principal is very friendly always saying hi to you in the halls. The deans are friendly but when they have to they will calm everyone down. Mrs. J and Mrs. W set up scavenger hunts which is a nice break from sitting down and just doing work. We get to stand and look for work instead.

This school is great because of our teachers and our principal; and our friends too because a lot of our friends help us if we are struggling and there are always by our side; our teachers are too because they are the one that educate us and help us move to the next grade and our principal she help to stop fights or give us advice on what to to do and how to reach to the next grade. I like this school because of all the fun things we did like trips and water day in after school and of course all the subjects too.I love this school and i hope to come back for 7th grade. -Jamaya W.

I really love this school. I really like how the school is welcoming and it is a great learning environment where you can work in peace and for certain classes they will let you make up missing work; I remember i had a bad grade in a class and they let me get extra credit lessons and in no time i become a good student. That is one of the main reasons i love this school. And i like the way the set up student government to get other students involved and more mature and stuff like that. And most of the staff here i really like them because as I said everybody is welcoming and they are willing to take care of your needs and things of that nature. And one of my favorite memories from this school is, whenever i am walking down the hallway with my friends, its my favorite cause i do it everyday, we have interesting conversations and we can just be ourselves.

My experience at this school was an amazing adventure because of how the staff here treats everyone here which feels like a safe community for every student. It is expected for high schools for prep their students to be successful in life and at Queens United MS they prep students to go to the next level each year and make us prepared for whatever that is next and planned for us in the future. Two of my favorite teacher here is Ms.Clovey and Mr.Conforte. Ms.Clovey is a Math teacher. I believe if you are a person who loves to connect with others and have a connection with you teacher Ms.Clovey is always all ears for your comments, feedback, concerns, and questions etc. which will help you a step further in understanding how to communicate with others not your age. Mr.Conforte is an ELA teacher and In my opinion he's one of the nicest teacher here i know; one thing I like about Mr. Conforte is that he's very honest, we all love a honest teacher and they are always the fun ones and you never have to worry about them not telling you the truth. Both Deans Mr.Louis and Mr.Pons are really nice people and they both seem to care about their students and their academic life and they always encourage us to do better each day, Dean Louis is always happy and matches my energy each morning and Evening and he has a very funny personality. Mr.Ponds love to communicate with his scholars making sure they're doing their best at all time and make sure they're okay.

I love this school so much, and it has definitely improved my academic life, because if I am stuck on a topic, or I am confused on a topic, I have teachers that support, and help me at lunch, or when school ends. One of my favorite memories at this school, was when like a month before the algebra 1 regents, I was not feeling a lot of self confidence about it, and I thought that I was not going to do well on it, but I had a teacher that always supported me, and encouraged me, and that gave me a strong determination, and she also provided Delta Math, and Khan Academy for the students so they could be more prepared towards the Algebra 1 regents, and i ended up passing it. In addition to that, for the Living Environment Regents, if I was confused about anything, I always had a teacher helping me, and giving clarification considering the Living Environment Regents, and she also made a Living Environment test prep, to better prepare us for the Regents. All of the people in the school have been welcoming, and accepting to me. Also, I also learned life skills in this school that would prepare me for high school, and for the rest of my life. Also, the school talked about important matters, for example, bullying, and how it can affect a child's mental health, one of the ways they did this was presenting it to us, on the auditorium. Also, the schools even presented us a play which was a Broadway Junior play called Into the Woods, which featured our students in the school. The school loved doing events for 8th graders that were graduating. For example, SONYC after school did a party for us, which featured pizza, and chicken, and they even gave us a gift bag, which was a water bottle, a planner, and pens. As you can see this school has been very loving, and this school definitely deserved a 5 star.

This school, QUMS, is a place where students can push themselves. But if you cannot push yourself, thankfully we have the right teachers to push you and get you to do your best! My favorite teachers that push me is Ms. Mumford (Art teacher), Ms. Stevens (Assistant Principal), Dean Pons, Ms. Harrison (Humanities teacher), Mr. Conforte (Humanities teacher), and a few others. I can talk to those whenever I need a hype man, or support about decisions, or just to vent. If you are at your lowest you may always speak to them to push you to do better. Ms. John (Science teacher) , Ms. Lindsey (Math teacher), Ms. Mumford are the teachers who will be outspoken and will keep it real and still make you laugh at the end of the day. But with them you will always talk to them about your grades or play with them but you have to respect them. All of these teachers will give you advice and a better future! My favorite accomplishment was that I got into SHSAT. SHSAT stands for Specialized Highschool Admissions Test. Hopefully I get into it again next year. But when I got in, I was so proud of myself. My favorite memories are how I met some of my best friends who have become like family to me here. In afterschool, I talk to a woman named, Ms.Berta and I tell her everything about my day. The good, the bad and everything in between. I hope that she comes back and makes an apperence again.

I am a 7th grader at this school and I have to say this school has changed me to be a better person, the adults in this school gave the students multiple opportunities to do their very best. Opportunities include SHSAT, Khan academy, Delta math, and etc. The Deans, Teachers, and Assistant Principals, and Principal have helped me so much they made sure every student had an amazing time and also made sure that we were doing OK emotionally and physically. One of my favorite memories at this school is when the Deans were dancing with us students and we were having so much fun together. Overall if I was able to give this school more stars I would.

This school is amazing! I was able to do so much better in all aspects of learning, especially in foreign language. I was even able to get an accomplishment! "Most improved student in French Class". Guidance counselors are very understanding, In fact, I don't even hear them raise their voice. Many teachers have changed the way that I learn in a very special way, such as Ms. Clovey, Ms. Lindsey, Ms. John, Mr. Ray, Mr. Wray, Ms. Harrison and Ms. Pardo, Senora Jones and Ms. Caciro. And, some teachers are just fun to be around! Such as Mr. Conforte. My family is very invested in this school too! My favorite memory was actually my first day of school because I actually got to see many people that I saw online in person. Now, they're all my friends. Honestly there are no problems in this school; all of you have to do is just do your work then it's just smooth sailing through the year. The school provides the help needed in certain subjects you're failing too, iReady after school and etc. And after school for failing isn't the only one, they have specialized high school after school! This gives you a chance to learn 8th-10th grade subjects. In conclusion, all the teachers changed the way I learned in an amazing way, overall just a fun school especially using Khan Academy and Delta Math.

Principal not teachers have control, never s full day of lessons. More fights than educating. Disrespectful students... For a small environment I am disappointed
