I have been in this school since kindergarten and I'm in eighth grade, the hast graduating class of 156. I grew up here so I have quite a bit too say. Whether it's rascism, sexism, it something, there's an issue. There is definitely much drama, but at the end of the day, what do you expect from middle school boys and girls. Yeah, this school has flaws, like their truncation of middle school, and it's grade, but I will tell you that no school will feel more like family than this one. Teachers that care about your academic and personal life. They want you safe, they care about your grade, but it's you don't care, there's only so much they can do. There is always the one teacher you feel toot can tell anything. Teachers and the Dean treat you like their children, you feel like it's I asked for help from a math teacher to study for the SHSAT, and with pleasure, my teacher took out of her time: lunch, aftershool, etc. They care to much to see us fail. So sure there's bullying, the school could have less drama, however, you will never find a group that love you more. Even the ones that don't like you care. It's like a second home. I'm sad to leave but glad for new beginnings.

I am a parent of 2 that is concerned about my kids education. They have been telling me about how Ms. Mason the lunch aid, when she yells in the bullhorn the yells in there ear. I she is not fired you will have less and less kids everyday until your school closes. From a concerned parent.

Great school!!! The teachers are excellent!! I am so glad my child has attend this school for past three years.

This School is given a 3 star rating out of 5...and every other year the rating gets lower, the students are out of control, I feel sorry for the good teachers who are really trying...the 7th grade teachers should be the best, because thats the grade high schools choose from...but there are a few really poor 7th grade teachers....think about that when you consider sending your children here...don't be fooled by the nice looking neigborhood.
