All three of my children attended Good Shepherd. We are blessed to have had such a wonderful group of teachers and staff to have supported us through the years. The Director is amazing!!!

Our family couldn't be happier with Good Shepherd. Every person who works there is professional, polite and knowledgeable. This is a super learning environment for toddlers. The facility is immaculate, and the learning activities are developmentally appropriate. Our little guy LOVES going to 'his school'. This school is AMAZING! My children have been going here three year, and I have to admit our first year was hectic as a new principal, and group of teachers were then taking over. I'm so glad we stayed! The new principal has been a Godsend, she truly believes in these children and their education. As for the teachers, I can not praise them enough, they make my children excited to go to school everyday (in fact, it is difficult to get them in the car at dismissal). When it comes to my older daughter I am so thankful that above and beyond academics, she has learned the importance of being a good person and making good choices. Both important lessons I think get lost in translation in most schools these days. And for my younger daughter, I don't know where to begin. I have a kindergartener that plays the violin, is learning spanish and is reading and doing math far above her level. I love that the class sizes are small enough to allow her this opportunity. Also the Childrens Garden is an amazing experience. Where math, science, conservation and sustainability come together for another great lesson my children will be able to take with them into the future.

Good Shepherd is more of a family than a school. The teachers truly care and are passionate about what they do, even with kids such as my son who are a little difficult to work with. I send my kids to school, knowing they are in good hands, to an environment they thrive and learn in.

The task of making the decision of where to send our child was an extremely hard one. We like so many before us have found peace and comfort at Good Shepherd Day School. The school works hard to insure that each child and parent are well informed as to the needs and progress of all who attend. This school has a great Christian program where our children are taught not only the subjects needed to insure a good education but also the values of treating others with respect and an enduring sense of right and wrong. We are thankful for Good Shepherd Day School. It s a place where our children receive the needed help and support from a loving staff that focuses on the family as a whole.

We are so happy that we found Good Shepherd Day School. We are very pleased with the education that our son is receiving. The staff is caring and really takes time to get to know the children. I would highly recommend this school.

My School is Good Shepherd Day School in Punta Gorda Fl. My children have been attending G.S. since they were 15 months old. I cannot begin to say enough about the calibre of educators the staff represents. Public Schools wanted to stamp my children with an ESE label and let them fail kindergarten if necessary citing at their age they would not know any different. I disagreed and so did Principal Slattery. Together we developed a plan of action for my children and I could not be happier. They are engaged and eager to learn doing things I was told they would struggle with. Their success is a testament to what a loving and truly nurturing environment can do for children. I once wrote that I firmly believed the future of my children's academic sucess lay in the hands of Good Shepherd. That statement has been reinforced tenfold as I look forward to each afternoon to a pair of excited voices sharing the knowledge they learned that day with all the wonderment discovery brings.

This school has an outstanding track record for it's focus on education. My children are grade levels ahead of those students that are at public schools and we are proud to say that we are GSDS parents.

My wife and I visited every school in the area before choosing Good Shepherd D.S. as our child's school. This school is exceptional. They provide a great academic program and just as importantly they have an environment and culture that makes my son actually want to go to school in the morning. At Good Shepherd your child is an individual and the teachers really care about their students and want to help them learn.

Good Shepherd Day School looks at each child as an individal and takes the time to meet their needs. They look for new ways to get the children excited about learning. My children love going to school now! They are learning to play music and sing a variety of songs, Spanish,Art and PE. They are deveeloping good relations that will last a life time. I am thrilled with GOOD SHEPHERD DAY SCHOOL in Punta Gorda.

Good Shepherd is a wonderful school! The teachers care greatly for the children and it shows. The education they provide can't be beat. They are very hands on. My daughter learns something new everyday. I am so glad that I found this school. My daughter will attend until they don't have a class for her grade!

Good Shepard is not only a school but a family. Each students needs are met with the innovative and progressive teaching. It's not just a classroom and books. They do so much more. I'm very pleased with Good Shepard and would recommend this school to others

We feel blessed with this school. The quality of teachers and curriculum are second to none. The principle gets involved on a personal level with all aspects of the student's development. Teachers truly care and communicate with parents regularly. The student ratio is incredibly small so teachers can fine tune their approach with students on an individual basis. We moved from another private school in Charlotte County that in no way comes close to the quality of this school. I highly recommend it!

Great School, great Principal, great, Faculty, great community. Joy and caring mark this faith based school where education comes in many different ways to students who are met on an individual level. Things keep getting better at Good Shepherd Day School, Punta Gorda.

Good Shepherd is a unique family oriented school whose main focus is to teach all children, regardless of abilities, in their unique learning style while exposing them to many modalities to encourage success. As principal of the school, I am dedicated to the supportive environment and believe we all need to work together to ensure our student's productivity and ultimately flourishing as independent learners. Good shepherd is growing and improving under current leadership.. It offers foreign language for little ones, gym, music, and art much more intensive than the public school. The administration is caring and available.

Good Shepherd is a great school! My children are happy and learning. They have many offerings that you will not receive in a public school. Besides the main classes they have Spanish, gym, PE, and music - every week! They are getting a well-rounded education! The staff is small and strives to reach my children's needs.

My children have been going to school here for 4 years & yes it has seen its share of changes, but through it all the children have been the focus. All things change & sometime change again to get it right. They did not give up and except status quo, they kept striving and demanding the best that there was to offer. This is an outstanding school with a genuinely caring staff that is second to none. Thank you Good Shepherd Staff & Administration for all that you do, keep up the GREAT work!!!

I was a parent at this school for four years and I have since enrolled my children at another Christian school. I am extremely disappointed in how behind my kids are. They went from straight A's at this Project Child School to failing and their new school. Too many changes and took place during my four years and the staff does not communicate with the parents. Numerous things took place last year that were unacceptable and it seemed as if i had to tell the administrators how to handle the problems. I am so happy I left!

This school continues to grow and strengthen! You should check it out! The enrollment numbers continue to grow and I as a parent feel good about where things are going. We are growing in the most effective way...slowly to build a strong foundation.
