I graduated in 2021 after attending the district from kindergarten up. The school was very accommodating whenever necessary. There can be some discrimination by fellow students and unfairness by some teachers towards those in sports, but where isn't there because that's just our society? Academically, students will get what they put into it. Whether it's advanced, AP, or college-level courses, the opportunities are there for every student to succeed if they just put in the effort. My sister, who graduated in 2016, left with enough AP and college credits to be about a year into college and gained her bachelor's degree in three years from UW-Madison. I will remember a good portion of my teachers throughout this district forever because of how dedicated they are to their students' learning and overall well-being. While I don't know a ton about the special education program, I do know that they all have a specialized graduation plan geared towards them. They have a separate section of the school with a full kitchen, living room, laundry, and learning space so the students can get real-world education on how to take care of themselves. There is also a separate learning area for those with a primary language of Spanish. Parents are encouraged to support their students, especially in extracurriculars such as band where a lot of parental help is necessary. I would definitely recommend this district.

We have/had both our children attend Pulaski schools kindergarten up to senior year. The daily scheduling is a total mess, they have the WORST system in the area! The special ed dept is a joke, student doesn't get the help they need. The students failing just get pushed through the system to make the school system look good. Students in sports for sure get the best treatment and less of a punishment than others not in sports. Things are promised by teachers/staff and are NOT followed though with. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. IF you live in the school area enroll your kids at a different school and drive them there, it will be worth it! Get your act together Pulaski school system.

Been in the district for my whole life, that is until last year. The principal sits in his office all day, and students that cause trouble get little to no punishment. Though I have not been bullied, it is extremely common at this school. The whole district prioritize sports and other students are left behind.

Can't recommend, my two children have been in the Pulaski school system for over 10 years and we are just not happy with the learning, or lack of learning they are getting.

I attended this HS and graduated in 2002 after transferring from an Oconto County school. When I was a student, the school was rather stable but went through a rough spot after the principal left in 2003. Fortunately, Principal Matczak has taken over since; he is tough but fair. The school is one of the most successful in the area and is well-supported by the community.

So pleased with the mix of academics, sport and other extra curricular activities at PHS. Latest test scores out in October 2012 rate it higher than any other High School in the area. So many choices for electives from AP classes for freshmen to hands on wiring a house and the kids are encouraged to actively complete community service projects. Marching band, choir, musicals, math, forensics and FFA clubs all supported by teachers and well attended. Developing well rounded students with excellent admin leadership and passionate and dedicated teachers. Hope the referendum gets passed so technology and sports facilities can be improved.

There is one crud teacher but thankfully she is retiring. Also the school has an amazing band and choir. Amazing Musicals. Very diverse groups but not racially.

*Outstanding band department--Going to the Rose Parade AGAIN, next year *Mediocre choir department *Excellent FFA program *Academics are strong-Lots of opportunities for college-level classes. High ACT scores *Sports-Something for everyone, and great coaches all around *Clubs and Activities-Something for everyone *Lots of involved parents *Responsive administration (I don't agree with the politics thing at all.) This school is like all schools, in that the kids who want to find trouble will find it, but kids who are focused are very successful. Besides, I think successful students come from parents who are involved; schools cannot take the full credit (nor blame) for student success or failure.
