The 5 day school week is great. Kids are learning so much here. This school still has high expectations for kids. Kids are respectful. Nice balance of school and religion. This school has high standards and sticks to them. Best place I have even sent my kids for school.

I would never send my child anywhere else. The education and sense of family at Trinity is amazing.

The faculty's commitment to educating my child is unsurpassed. The strong sense of community contributes to feeling like family once we walk through the school doors.

My experience with this school has been fantastic. My daughter has learned a lot and has excelled every step of the way. Although it was a rough start for her. Her teacher because of the smaller class size was able to help her achieve all our goals and more. Looking forward to a great new school year after this summer.

I have asked over and over for the school leadership to meet with me about my bill. The school has avoided the issue to either credit my account or refund it. I wish I could say that I will be sending my children back, however I am disappointed with the administration and principal he has not replied to my emails or my phone calls to meet with what would've been my daughters teacher. So my advice is be careful for if your looking for communication it is lacking and I'm sadden on the good Christian values have left when all the great teacher left the school.

A bad manager can take a good staff and destroy it, causing great employees to flee and the remainder to lose all motivation.Sounds EXACTLY like the past school year at Trinity. Only one great teacher remains, and who knows for how long they will be able to deal with the arrogance, unprofessionalism, and unChristian values that came along with the new management.

I really appreciate all the support the teachers give my daughter in her education. Change at this school was necessary and I'm excited to see what the year brings.

Our children have attended this school for several years and have a genuine love and caring for their school, their teachers and their classmates. Our children are sad to see the school year end and by mid July are counting the days in anticipation of returning to Trinity for their new school year. I believe there many dedicated, Christ centered families and staff members at this school. I also believe that as leadership changes happen as within any professional setting many are happy with change while others are displeased with change. Change can be embraced positively or negatively, we all get the right to make that determination for ourselves. I find it very disheartening that people have used this site to air their displeasure with happenings at the school. It is neither constructive or necessary to tear people or institutions down to have your opinion or your grievance be heard. There is enough negative in the world and perhaps trying to be an advocate and part of the solution would serve this school and the Trinity students and families much better. Schools and teachers are only part of the equation in a child's education, parent involvement, parents holding their children accountable and supporting the staff is also needed. It take a village to raise children and pointing fingers and making people the villain accomplishes very little if anything. Our experience with our children has been they are shown love, grace, kindness, integrity, honesty, compassion and passion from the staff and their peers and are led towards academic excellence. All organizations have growing pains and experience resistance to change and reorganizations. It would be great if we could all learn how to deal with people we don't agree with on every subject manner with respect and dignity, that is a real world life lesson we should be modeling for our children. There are many teachings in the Bible regarding biblical pruning, refer to John15, Psalm 51, dozens more exist as well. Also worth a read is www.housetohouse.com 2 part article on God is Pruning Me. I am disappointed that some teachers decided to leave too but I also know that if people don't believe in something it is best for them and others to explore new opportunities for their own benefit and for the benefit of the school. I'm very sad that the lack of Christian values has taken this school over! It is horrific that the new administration has been allowed to bully staff, students and parents.

After reading the recent comments, I felt the need to share our families experience with Trinity. Our children have attended this school for four years. We love this school and felt a change in leadership was needed. I am a public school teacher who chose the private school route for our children for many reasons. This school has provided a top notch education for our kids, and they are learning at a pace that far outweighs what a child will receive in this towns public education. I should know I work in the public schools and see what students of the same age are learning, it doesn't even compare. Any time we've had an issue (only twice this year) it has been handled by the Principal swiftly and effectively. I have always felt I could approach the leadership with any questions or concerns and I was heard. As far as the technology piece, have you been to our public schools lately? Many have terrible technological issues including the dire need for updated technology and internet connectivity problems. Our children continue to have a strong Christian education that is top notch! Yes, teachers are leaving, but this is similar to public schools. When a new Principal comes in there are personality conflicts because teachers are use to the former Principals style. It's not a bad thing, it's just how it is. So the teachers leave and new ones come in. Change is not always a bad, in some cases it can be a wonderful blessing. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but I find it disheartening when it seems as though the negative comments are being made for the sole purpose of seeing this school fail. I stand by this school and am so appreciative of the Christian education my children are receiving.

With so many teachers resigning for the sole reason of lack of Christian leadership, we cannot return next year. Children need support from teachers, and teachers need support from school and church leaders. Because there is now no discipline, security is laughable (I have been let in the building by a 10 year old sitting at the desk in the office several times recently.) and chapel is not the spiritual place it is intended to be, seriously think twice about enrolling your children. Sadly, the teachers who are leaving cannot be relpaced. Classroom teachers are excellent instructors and role models.

If you are visiting this site to get information about our school, it is my prayer that you would keep an open mind and rather than base your decisions on what you read, that you would come and meet our Principal, let him tell you about Trinity Lutheran School and what our Mission is here. Yes he will tell you about his background, as to inform you of his qualifications and his commitment to Trinity and your child. As Secretary of Trinity Lutheran Church for the past 28 years I have seen several teachers and 3 principals come and go. Mean and vicious things have been said in the past, and yet Trinity Lutheran School remains a strong force in our community! Because GOD has a plan, and as long as there are children who need the opportunity to come here and be taught by dedicated teachers who love them and are willing to work together, HIS plan will continue! If changes need to be made to accomplish HIS purpose, HE will see to it that they are made! HE has brought to Trinity a strong and knowledgeable Administrator, who has remained faithful to his Call here and has proven that he will continue to do so. And like so many I am so glad and thankful that he is.

Please, please think twice before considering Trinity Lutheran. I see a complete breakdown of morality there. It's not even about Christianity, it's simple right and wrong being ignored despite the teachers' best efforts. Our favorite teachers are leaving. Behaviour problems are escalating. The whole school is a battleground of spiritual warfare. We are so sad. We loved it there but it is clear that it's time to move on.

I have been the First Grade teacher here since 1994. The posts that have been written about this school and the new administrator are disgusting. Many of you say that you will be going elsewhere because this school no longer has Christian values. I ask you to read the words that you wrote and tell me how "Christian" they are. I ask you to say a prayer for our school and for those who feel that they need to bring others down with evil words.

My husband and I went over to Trinity a couple weeks ago for a tour, about 2:00 in the afternoon. We were greeted immediately and made to feel at home, something not commonly found in schools in Pueblo. The lady in the office that gave us the tour and the Principal were genuinely caring people. We enjoyed seeing all of the children busy at work in their classrooms. After falling in love with the school, I came on here to read the reviews. I was disappointed to read all of the comments recently berating the school. The comments of those that are upset seem very immature and boarder on slander. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I have a feeling that those that are dissatisfied will find that the chaos they choose to thrive in, will follow them wherever they go. Good luck to those moving on, but for us and our family,Trinity is a perfect fit!

What is going on at this school? People are fighting and gossiping, several teachers are leaving and the curriculum doesn't seem to be centered on God anymore. I do not want my children in an environment like this. Yikes! I guess we will be giving public school a try. It will probly be a more peaceful environment than Trinity has become. Good luck, Trinity. you're going to need it.
