Worst school I’ve ever seen in my life. The teachers are rude and treat the kids like they are in jail instead of a fun learning environment. My kids were so behind academically. We are so happy this is out last year at lacy!

So, my child has been with this school for 3 years now.There isn't much to say with regards to anything positive.I think all of PISD needs to implement more protocols for BULLYING.They protect the Bully and the victim gets the repercussions when they stick up for themselves.The teachers are so-so. This is the first year I am actually happy with her teacher.She is a Rockstar, however... I hear this will be her last year.Even the staff cant stand to stay long. It's unfortunate.I blame PISD as a whole and not just Lacy Elem.I cannot wait to transfer my child when the new school opens up near our house.I DO NOT recommend this school OR the district, however until we move cities, we are stuck with less desirable staff, unrulychildren and teaching practices.

Bad, staff is OK, principle needs guidance, math teacher is a bully and ridicules students in front of class

This school is awesome! My son attended Kindergarten here. Its a small school for a small town. Everyone is very friendly, very helpful. His teacher Mrs. Perkins is everything you would want in a teacher. Great communication with the parents. The PTO is always helping out and sponsoring activities for the kids and families. I would recommend this school.

The absolute worst schooling experience for my children!! Spoke with the principal about concerns regarding my kids and asked him to communicate back to me. I have yet to hear a word back from him. My child was bullied and nothing was done. My children will not return ever!!!

We have had nothing but great experiences with Lacy Elementary! The staff is caring and the PTO is exemplary! The teachers are willing to go the extra step and respond to emails concerning our children.
