We have been a BASIS Prescott family for eight years now. We have three children that attend BASIS Prescott. This is a school with advanced curriculum and I would say that parental guidance and support is highly recommended for most students. The parents and staff at BASIS Prescott are investing in the future of the students that attend this school. We have never had a concern for the safety of our children at this school and feel so blessed to have a school that feels like a second family for our kids.

My kids have been at BASIS Prescott since it opened 10 years ago! My kids have been challenged academically, have learned to work hard, and developed time management skills. For my son who thrived in physics and math he was able to continue advancing as they offer classes such as AP Calculus BC & Calculus based physics. I have a child who has an IEP due to a few mental health diagnoses. The ESS (exceptional student services) has been phenomenal. The love and support for him was beyond what we expected. I am especially grateful that phones are not allowed so that the students aren't distracted and can focus on what they are learning and improve interpersonal skills. Ultimately, I'm grateful it's an environment where wanting to learn isn't looked down upon but celebrated.

Having two sons and a daughter attend this school was absolutely wonderful. The teachers and the administration are excellent and expect great things from the students. For public education, this is definitely the best option, not only in the Tri-Cities area, but across the nation.

This basis school is singular in the Prescott area. I have 5 kids who attend from elementary school through high school. They are learning to be disciplined about homework, being prepared for college through AP classes and comprehensive exams, and loving those with whom they associate. The focus on academics is truly amazing. I had a child not only take 5 AP classes as a freshman but also score a 5 on each one. This school prepares kids for the rigors of college, graduate school, and life in general. I could not be more pleased!

We moved our grade 4 son to Basis this year in October. I was resistant since I know they are accelerated and he was at a low performing school. Because he is well behaved, above average in intelligence and social, he was becoming increasingly unhappy and not performing to his ability because the school he was at had so many kids with disruptive behaviors. He asked to move to Basis. The first couple weeks were challenging as he entered late and was behind, mostly on math. But he’s capable and the school was very responsive and helpful in helping him catch up, which he did quickly. He appreciates being somewhere where there aren’t the behavioral issues that were impacting his learning. Basis provides a safe and structured learning environment along with a well rounded, well thought out curriculum. They teach responsibility, time management, accountability. Glad we made the move.

Good, except, for the homework issue. "Kids" should have a healthy balance of school and family life every day.

My kids are very happy at Basis. They are not “brainiacs,” but are doing amazing! My son has learning disabilities and this school has helped him more than any other school has. The structure, support, and love you get here is wonderful!

Early experiences were AMAZING!!!! I have no idea what happened with first grade. I am hoping we will be in a different school for second grade.

My children are engaged and intrigued in what they are learning. I know that they are in the best academic atmosphere available in Prescott. The structure the school provides makes my children feel comfortable, knowing what is going to happen each day, etc..

BASIS Prescott Scool provides students with a world class academic environment. Subject strategies are based upon the essential mix of language, math, sciences and history all presented in a culture where learning is the norm and subject mastery the objective. Our child's academic self-esteem is evident. While many of our child's peers are texting in other schools during class, the BASIS Prescott learning culture is focused on maximizing each moment of the day by setting a standard for academic excellence.
