Amazing staff. Amazing school. The principal and staff are all incredibly helpful, supportive, and communicative. They do everything they can to make sure everyone succeeds and make everyone feel like they matter. They take time out to do everything in their power to help every kid succeed. Cannot say enough good things about Copper Ridge!

My son is in first grade at Copper Ridge and I am a substitute for knox county. After working in other schools, I see how wonderful our little school is. I now only sub at Copper Ridge. I feel like we are a true family. Everyone is passionate about educating the children and also making sure they are in a safe,loving home. I wouldn't want my child anywhere else!

Excellent school! We came from a private school and found CRE to be an even better fit for our child. The staff is so caring. We are proud to be CRE cougars!

The principal was not very nice and made the teachers teach things worse than they used to.

My older son started attending Copper Ridge in 2006, and my younger son still attends CRE. I fell in love with the school almost immediately. The administration and teachers went out of their way to create a family atmosphere and welcomed parent involvement. My children's teachers have been outstanding. They have been very prepared for testing, but more importantly, they are well-rounded students. The guidelines prohibit naming individuals, but I would like to mention that there is a 1st grade teacher on staff at CRE who is one of the finest and most enthusiastic educators I have ever encountered. One of my sons was fortunate enough to be in her class. Her creativity in lesson planning ensures that students stay engaged. Her students learn all the required skills for 1st grade and many more things that will help them throughout their education and their lives. I am thankful that we were zoned for this wonderful place.

I was a student at Copper Ridge during the late 80s/early 90s. After attending college out of state, I had the opportunity to return to Knoxville for my career, and recently I've had the priviledge of volunteering on numerous occassions at Copper Ridge. This school is just as amazing as it was when I was a student. Granted, my perspective has changed since then, but I challenge you to find a Knox County school with a small community feel and faculty/staff members who are as caring and dedicated as the ones here.

Not only is this school amazing, the staff makes sure it is like a little community. I really believe the score needs to be a '10'! It is truly a great environment for children to blossom.
