Having worked at Wyndcroft for several years now, I can confidently say that it’s a great place to work & grow as an educator. Coming from a public school background, where support was limited, professional development opportunities were rare, and caseloads were overwhelming, Wyndcroft has been a breath of fresh air.The staff is genuinely valued & empowered to continuously grow through PD opportunities that keep us ahead of the educational curve. Wyndcroft not only prioritizes these opportunities but also gives us the tools & support needed to implement innovative & effective teaching strategies. It’s a rare gift to work in a place that values your growth as much as the growth of our students.The small class sizes allow us to build meaningful connections with families and give each student the individualized support they need. The leadership team has been incredibly supportive, creating an environment where we're all encouraged to bring out the best in ourselves and each other.

I have taught at many different schools, public and private. I know what I like and what I don’t. And after visiting Wyndcroft to see if it was a good fit for my son, I was absolutely blown away. I simply cannot say enough good things about this school. Teachers have the support they need to teach effectively. Class sizes are small. The admin team truly cares. The curriculum is incredibly innovative. (I love the STEM program) It has a wonderful parent community full of support. Every teacher is amazing. I feel good knowing that my children will be well equipped for any high school or college that they may choose.

I highly recommend this school as an option for parents looking at educational choices. Both of my children have attended this school since three years of age and my entire family has had an exceptional experience for the last seven years. I find the teaching staff to be dedicated, passionate, and constantly working to create interesting, engaging, and inspirational lessons. My most recent experience includes the newly piloted STEM program. My daughter comes home from school bursting with ideas, drawings and vocabulary that is impressive. To hear her future job dreams morph from "baker, mom, and singer", to "engineer, architect, and marine biologist" is an experience that I won't soon forget. I find the communication from faculty and staff to be timely, appropriate, and helpful. I value the Non-Sibi motto that is taught (Not for myself but for others) and the different character traits that each grade learns to invest in. These traits include: responsibility, grit, appreciation, leadership, empathy etc. I find that in today's world when you can teach your child anything, teaching them to be kind is at the top of my list and I believe that Wyndcroft is a large part of that journey.

The experience my child (in lower school) and family have had at this school has been fantastic. The teachers are exceptional and experienced and the curriculum and teaching methods are impressive. The culture of kindness is reflected in the way the older children interact with the younger children. The studies seem challenging, yet age-appropriate and fun.

The Wyndcroft School was the best decision for my 3 children. The foundation they received was exceptional and the opportunities it provided them was evident throughout their high school years. The teachers are passionate and caring and went above and beyond in so many ways. The academics are exceptional and the community is awesome! I highly recommend!!

Wyndcroft has been instrumental in preparing my children (2 alum, 1 current) for life beyond these walls. My children have been well prepared for high school & college as they are thriving in their current studies. They take initiative & strive for excellence all thanks to the well-balanced education they received at Wyndcroft. The school community is warm & nurturing while the academics are rigorous & challenging. The teachers are always so supportive & caring to each students’ needs. The small class sizes allow for teachers to address each student individually. I have been so impressed with how the students, teachers, administrators & staff work together for the good of all, stressing the school’s motto of Non Sibi as well as the aspects of the Wyndcroft graduate’s traits. My children were celebrated for their wins & encouraged to overcome their difficulties. They could not have received a better education elsewhere!

My child attended The Wyndcroft School from grade 1 through graduation. When choosing a school, I was looking for an environment where kindness was the norm and leaders were born. Every day my child was taught by capable faculty that created a culture of kindness. All students became leaders through intentional opportunities that allowed them to shine. My child’s transition to secondary school this fall was smooth. He was excited and confident – ready for the next step. I’m thankful to the opportunities he had at The Wyndcroft School and wouldn’t change a thing.

I am very fortunate to have three children who recently graduated from Wyndcroft. They received an excellent academic base to move on to the high school of their choice. The school offers a rigorous academic curriculum as well as music, art, athletics and afterschool clubs including chess. The teachers and administrators make it a point to know each child and provide the support needed to be successful. Wyndcroft will always be a part of our family!

The Wyndcroft School is a hidden gem in Pottstown. The school provides a secure and supportive atmosphere that fosters learning and growth. Our son has been enrolled since early childhood and is set to graduate this year. He's received a top-notch education, and we believe he's thoroughly prepared for secondary school. The teachers have been outstanding and dedicated to their craft. With relatively small class sizes, they are able to give individualized attention catered to every student's needs. The recently recruited Math and Latin teachers are superb and have made both subjects very engaging. The school is always adding programs and enhancing the curriculum. The STEM program has been a great addition which continues to expand. The Student Ambassador Program is another one that builds leadership skills. Students present at a very early age and get comfortable with public speaking. Their writing skills are honed and are well above students of their age in other schools. They are encouraged to be creative and independent thinkers. There is a sense of community and many activities where families can get engaged with the school.The administration and staff encourage communication and always make themselves available. The administration solicits input from parents through surveys. For example, recently a survey was sent out about changes to the lunch program to ensure it meets the students' and parents' needs. Parent requests and concerns are addressed appropriately. I have emailed teachers on multiple occasions and received prompt responses and action. The head of school is a very experienced leader who has made significant positive changes to the school. The school is apolitical and focused on academic excellence in a nurturing environment.We could not have picked a better school for our son!

After being at the school for almost a decade we are looking forward to moving on from Wyndcroft. The school has gone downhill over the last three years. The hiring of the new head of school was a very expensive failure with tuition monies spent on her salary and living expenses rather than in retaining or hiring experienced faculty and administrators. As a result, the academic rigor has diminished and there is very little "push" of students who naturally do well and need to be challenged. Class sizes have increased significantly, even though enrollment numbers are down, to the degree that the teachers are unable to accommodate multiple learning needs and attention to behavioral and social concerns is often lacking. Not to mention that the faculty are having to wear two or three hats (the science teacher is also the librarian; the drama teacher also teaches PE; etc.) and yet there are almost as many administrators as there are faculty currently. The head of school does not engage with the school community, is absent during school functions, and has driven away experienced tenured teachers and administrators with her liberal policies. Sadly, the intimate, welcoming and student-focused school that we visited and enrolled in many years ago is not the school that exists today.

We have been attending Wyndcroft since elementary level and will be finishing this year. Have seen a drastic change in leadership these past two years and am looking forward to a change. We have seen an increase in social problems as reported by my child. Conflicts, bullying and nothing done to address the issues. Random grades and some very poor preparation for final exams. A few teachers just left problem areas to the student vs helping solve the problem. Very shocking to see a teacher come to school with inappropriate dress and push a very liberal agenda to students, while not really teaching her subject. Again, nothing done to address this issue. It was an embarrassment .There are some good aspects to school as many teachers are very good, but a few do not seem to prepare students for the course material. Most concerning is the lax administration for students who are disruptive and disrespectful.

We have two grandchildren at wyndcroft, one in first and one in fifth grade. The curriculum is exceptional. I taught at a public school for 21 years and the experience my grandchildren are getting at this school is everything an education should be. They do many hands on projects, parents and grandparents are constantly invited to be involved, French is taught from the first year they are here and Latin is introduced in fifth grade. Children are offered many opportunities to develop leadership skills, from participating In all school plays and musicals, to leading the school in informative sessions in the all school weekly gathering. Music plays an important role in students’ education with a variety of instruction in many instruments to chorus experiences. Kindness and inclusion are modeled and taught. Outstanding school!

I have been so impressed with Wyndcroft’s ability to cater to the academic needs of my two children. My youngest is very advanced and is consistently provided with challenge work by his teacher. My oldest sometimes struggles in language arts and math and receives excellent additional support from teachers, including additional resources to reinforce material. With two children and very different needs, I can confidently say that this school addresses academic needs at the individual level.

Wonderful atmosphere for learning for my three girls. The support from their teachers has been an incredible asset to their journey through education. Impressed with the robust curriculum, Stem Program, and fantastic drama program. Socially, my children have made healthy friendships that spill over from the classroom to home. The social emotional program in the classroom nurtures & embraces each students individuality. As a parent of a rising eighth grader who is also a "lifer" (started at age 3 yrs), I've had the opportunity to watch the school grow over the last couple years under new leadership. I look forward to watching my current fourth grader and first grader continue to benefit from a solid Wyncroft education.

We have been at Wyndcroft several years and will move on next year. There are good aspects such as 50% of the teachers, with good academics. There is virtually NO learning support and our two kids have needed help which resulted a passing grade when they were way behind with the material. When brought to the attention of teachers, nothing ever changed as social promotions happen and we understand the school keeps most everyone in for the tuition. From a friendly, social perspective, our kids have no friends as they don't seem to " fit in " with the rich and cool kids and have been berated or ostracized. Never invited to group parties or activities, and are often rejected in-out of school. Several disruptive students in classes which are never dealt with, but passed along. The Head of the school has been a huge disappointment in terms of leadership and being involved. Mostly unavailable. Found out from a friend she is not Hawaiian as she claimed. Just an odd, detached personality which lacks leadership and supervision. For the huge tuition, I wish we would have done a faith based school. Just time to move on.

We decided to stay at Wyndcroft despite having reservations about the amount of staff/teacher turnover and the weak administrative leadership since the former head of school left 3 years ago. The start of school has us worried as newer teachers seemed overwhelmed and there is still no solid support programs in place. The French curriculum is the same old non learning how to converse. Loosing the teacher ( Mr B ) in charge of plays and activities is a loss to everyone. We heard many left due to feeling left aside by the administration and salary. Still some great teachers but the school is very different now compared to earlier years. Out other children have done much better in a Christian school.

It’s our first year with wyndcroft and we absolutely love it. My son has excelled so much in just one year. I whole heartedly believe this can be attributed to the small class size and amazing teachers/staff. We can’t wait to send both of our boys there next year!

We have been parents of two children at Wyndcroft for the last five years. We came from out of state and I felt like I visited so many schools in the area but none felt right. As a child, I attended a school much like Wyndcroft and I wanted the same for my children. The teachers have been wonderful. The administration is so kind. The facility is safe and clean. Our children are growing academically, emotionally and interpersonally. One of our children has ADD and I feel like the teachers really worked with us to help him succeed. I can’t say enlighten great things and I would highly recommend Wyndcroft to any parent.

We could not have picked a better environment for our three daughters. Small class sizes and full day kindergarten is a terrific bonus to an already amazing school. One of the biggest advantages is the public speaking program that is integrated into the curriculum. We look forward to the next 8 years at the school.

After visiting several schools in the area, we knew right away the Wyndcroft School was the perfect fit. A big draw to the school was the small class sizes. The students welcomed us with smiles and we instantly felt the kindness throughout the school community. The teachers and staff are wonderful, they feel like family- providing a warm and nurturing environment! Our daughter happily goes to school every day. She is not only excelling in reading and math but coming home with daily knowledge of art history, French, music and science. At such a young age we are amazed at how much she has learned. We are pleased with the new after school activities this year and fun family events that create a strong sense of community. The reading buddy program has been a huge self esteem booster, she feels so special and connected to the older students!
